+1 for keeping it old school. Man, that play pissed me off.

So my 2014 Verizon Moto X (Remember 2014? It was last year!) won’t get the upgrade. Between this and the difficulty Android has in addressing security issues like stagefright, this is my first and last Android phone. I generally have preferred Android to iOS, but the small advantages can’t outweigh these issues.
wait. what? The engine is in the front?!
I think a naturally aspirated Cooper with a manual transmission is the only Mini that might be inexpensive to maintain. I’ve never owned a car this long so I don’t have anything to compare costs to. But considering the new cars I might be able to afford, I’ll keep spending $1K-2K per year on maintaining mine as long…
I’ve had my 04 Cooper S since new and put 123K miles on it. I love hearing about newer Minis having rattles and maintenance issues because it justifies my hate of everything Mini has done since the end of the first generation. The fact that newer models still rattle and have lots of maintenance issues despite Mini…
Martina Hingis is still playing professional tennis? That’s awesome!
This is the Bay Area we’re talking about, making that a perfect car to give away!
From the article: “Many observers, including those who’ve witnessed some of the most troubling crashes at Indianapolis, believe Hinchcliffe’s impact was among the most violent on record.”
I hope never to need a diseases specialist, but if I do, I hope I don't get one who's infectious.
I hate that Jazzi Barnum-Bobb is going to lose to Baba Blumkin in the first round.
Great advice! I've worked from home for over 4 years and no one has run me over yet!
I think being hated by rival fans is one of the best compliments an athlete can get, and growing up loving Michael Jordan I hated Anthony Mason. R.I.P.
Monitor calibration requires hardware. I have an old X-Rite i1 device so I'm not up-to-date on the current stuff. I went for the low-end professional option ($250-300, I think) after reading that the less expensive, "prosumer" options were not as effective.
Just found out about X-Rite's ColorTrue app. Works in conjunction with their monitor calibrators, but from what I saw in their video it only works within supported apps.

This is always the deal with NFL coaching changes. I remember the Chargers fired Marty and I was like, "Finally! But who can they get who'll do better?" The answer was no one, since they went out and hired Norv Turner. John Fox probably is similar where fans might be happy to see him go, but will be equally depressed…
What we have, here, seem to be unnecessary commas. These commas keep popping up when I don't remember seeing them before. Did I miss a memo?
In California they cannot charge customers for air, but you'll often find the compressors have a price on them and coin slots for payment. If you find one, go to the cashier and they will turn the pump on for you or tell you how to activate it without paying.
Word-of-mouth referrals are as good a source of clients as you're going to get. Make sure everyone you know is aware that you're a freelance web developer so they know to refer people to you. Other than clients I worked with previously in another capacity, almost every client I have is the result of word-of-mouth…
Thank you! I never planned on working for myself—I imagine a lot of freelancers are in that position these days—and have just been doing whatever I needed to get by. I appreciate you going over all of that since it's about time I figured out how to do better.
I read their explanation, it just didn't fit with my experience as a sole proprietor working at home. So, let me ask you about your example. Could you explain your method where it's $100/hr, but the final total works out to somewhere over $300/hr? Thanks!
