While I did make the change, I did not have time to rearrange you ‘til you’re sane.

We should all agree to refer to him as “Ruin Tomorrow Jr.” from now on.
Before I saw it was Simmons, I expected the first tweet to be “fuck yall, u faggot losers”
He just made me wish that Goodell had won the court case.
He could never have saved the Redskins. Even the best QB can’t overcome an organization that is run so poorly that even the Browns fans are glad to have different people running it.
I’d call it a good trade for the Cubs. A good defender and okay hitter for a PTBNL and international cash is a great way to strengthen a team short on good defensive outfielders and good pinch hitters.
She is an expert in sports journalism because she studied it at 5 different colleges.
You know it’s bad when you’re getting a retread from the Jets. That’s right, the GM actually said out loud “You know, he wasn’t good enough for the Jets, but I think he could take us to a better spot.”
Not smart enough to understand the point of the article? Sounds like she should be working for the Daily Caller.
I have Asperger Syndrome and my son is further down the Autism Spectrum, so I have a lot of experience dealing with sensory and other issues (i.e. “That looks weird so I won’t try it”). I know what he will and won’t eat, and I rarely make any specific requests. Anything stupid, like “grilled with no lines”, I just…
No Zero Wing under mistranslations?
Wow, Joe Isuzu has really gone downhill in recent years.
The only things the NFL can do right are crushing the NFLPA and getting politicians to give them money.
I think Wilson got scratched up a bunch. I remember seeing it live and I thought Farnsworth had gotten several solid blows in on Wilson, but on replay he got a few but most were glancing blows. But the “oh shit” face Wilson has right before Farnsworth gets to him is by far the best part of it.
If you’re going to use Batting Average to measure seasons, we’ll never agree on anything. Simply put, Batting Average is a middling measure of offensive output. You’d essentially be claiming that in 2001 Larry Walker was a better hitter than Barry Bonds on account of the additional 22 points of Batting Average.
I use BBRef. Fangraphs bases a lot of their forumla on how they think hitters would do on average given their peripherals, instead of based on what happened.
The problem with Tony Gwynn when compared to Adrian Beltre is that Tony Gwynn was a league average defender over his career at much easier defensive positions. Beltre is the second best career defender at his position (behind Brooks Robinson). Beltre was also a very good hitter, so he pretty easily passes Gwynn.
Currently he’s #36. By the end of this year he should pass Griffey Jr. and next year he should pass Chipper Jones.
A large chunk of his value is defense and being very good for a long time instead of really good for a shorter amount of time. So, to a lot of people, he isn’t a HoF because he wasn’t flashy enough.
Adrian Beltre is the most underrated player today. He’s added more to his teams over his career than people like Craig Biggio, Frank Thomas, or Tony Gwynn, all of who are in the Hall of Fame (and should be). And he’s still a very good player at 36, so he could easily play into his 40’s.
