Well, simply, you can’t. Not in most countries that support trademark, since it’s a country name. The Olympics, on the other hand, MAY be trademarked, but I get the feeling that ancient Greeks may have prior art claimage.

Call me an idiot, but I’m sure there is a reasonable prior-art claim for Rio and the Olympics?

Wonder if Scotland is sorry it elected to stay...

Would be unsurprised to see it marked at double the price too... which would again, make the question of being better a stupid one even if it is on any level better.

I’m surprised at mention of reliability issues... the Hummer being based on the military design after all. You’d think the military would be highly annoyed at having unreliable vehicles.

I find ice works very well for me... cheap and easy :)

Ford Anything really... cars are ok I guess, but dealing with the dealer network is seriously PITA.

THIS... very much so. Except with my wife I have literally no clue what she does with them, they simply dissappear. I think I’ve bought 4 or 5 boxes of 36 so far this year alone because the kids need pens. I’ve learnt the habit of defensive pen hiding to ensure I have one handy for checks/forms/etc

Many things that have dates don’t expire at all, such as mineral water (yes, it may not taste as great but it’s still safe to use long after). In fact, many times those dates are set to “encourage” you to buy the same thing again, or lower quantity just because it’s more expensive to you to do so.

I have the same problem, drives my wife nuts. I’ve had spaces of 72 hours where all I get is “doze” for a few minutes a night. Sucks badly.

Yup, as in if he doesn’t do it he gets punished.

Tell that to the schools that insist they be up at crack of dawn; many of these kids driving while their biorhythms are not attuned to being alert at that time, thus being unable to give them full attention to the road.

Wow... this place is really effed up. IF they perform a great service, IF I’m so taken aback by said great service that me and my guests are wowed to our socks... absolutely I would consider a tip in that case for that person. But, every wedding I’ve been to so far the staff have literally done the required and that’s

Yes - but when you buy them, you own them. Eat them, keep them, do whatever. Microsoft want to rent you the peanut butter and the bread, getting the same money off you as they did before except now you just get to sniff them occasionally.

“just noticing the needs of those around you and prioritizing them”

This method has never seen me pay interest in the 5+ years I’ve used it. I treat the card as a rotating “debit” line that constantly gets used and paid.

Every parent learns this eventually. Leaving a child that’s just lonely to sort themselves out in a crib, where they’re safe, clean, and fed is perfectly fine... important actually if you ever want to sleep again.

When you realize that people are scared of authority figures, and that those same authority figures perpetuate that fear... it’s not so surprising. Otherwise the case of the girl working for McDonalds would never have happened, nor would the fake FBI scam sites, etc.

Plenty of funding, personnel, and technology to catch you out when you’re 10c underpaid though....

I’m intrigued. What would you define as a bad tipper? Someone who tips poorly regardless of service, or someone that tips based on performance? Tipping is a gratuity for excellent service that goes beyond “what you want to eat”, “here’s your food”, “here’s your bill”.
