It’s probably going to apply mostly to new houses - few houses with gas cook tops have a spare 220 volt outlet for an electric (or induction) top. Induction cook tops are already expensive, having to run a new 220v circuit makes them even more so.

We’ve been looking at newer houses and a lot of them - and I’m not talking cheap houses - have the cook top built into the center island with no vent hood. I can’t imagine why people want that; it is an immediate “no” for me when I see it.

If you have a digital antenna, you should have free access to FOX Sports”

One thing I’ve learned over the years is that the triggers vary quite a bit from person to person. You can find lists of common triggers, and try to narrow them down (as the article says, keep a journal). Also, some vitamins and supplements (e.g. Magnesium) can help - but again, what works for one person may not work

I suppose you could also just use QR code generator websites to make your own QR codes and print them on labels. It would allow a lot of info in a small space.

I’ve had two, and the second prep didn’t see as bad as the first. I’m not sure why. One lesson I learned from the first: don’t eat a big meal afterward just because you haven’t eaten in a couple of days. Ease back into eating, it was much better on my stomach.

A 2003 Subaru Baja was absolutely the most unreliable car we’ve ever owned. We still have a 2002 Grand Cherokee and have spent less than half on repairs compared to the (slightly newer) Baja that we sold about five years ago. I’m not sure what it all added up to, probably a third of the cost of the car itself. Seems

Oddly enough, a PBS documentary sometime around 1967. There were two tribes that lived on an island (one stretched their ears long and the others didn’t). They were constantly warring. Eventually the short-ears dug a trench across the island and drove the long-ears (that they didn’t immediately kill) into the flames.

That makes more sense than anything I’ve heard. One of those car sales sites said that leather is the most requested option, yet BMW only orders leather on something like 4% of their new 3-series. There are a couple dozen new 3-series and C class in my city, and only one very high-spec’ed car has leather seats.

I wonder how many other people are thinking your “corporate customer” sounds like the company they worked for

Am I the only one who is surprised that the Trump design wasn’t more gaudy?

That is probably patches being pushed out to your computer. Mine does the same thing, usually sometime around the middle of the week (though not every week).

There is a fellow I worked with who always wore a wool scarf and flip flops, year-round. I can’t imagine when he was ever comfortable.

One of the irritants for me is the same as the Last Kingdom series - they seemed to feel as if background music was needed for every single scene. Both of them have loud Celtic music blaring when it’s just a guy riding on a road.

I very much remember a love triangle in the books. As I recall Geralt slept with Triss (at least) once, and there were strong feelings between them. Yennifer was threatened by that when she found out.

I’m up to about episode 6, and it is coming together better. I’ve read all the books so I know the characters, but early on I was really wondering how anyone who hadn’t read at least the first book could understand what is going on.

Not exactly what people think of regarding “food”, but the thing we like best about Portland is the fruit. Cherries, peaches, berries, all sorts of stuff grown within a short distance of town. Pick it yourself if you’re up to it. The huge Korean store in Tigard sells Washington Fuji apples that weigh about a pound

It was cool what Ayra did, but the previous moment we saw her there were hoards of zombies outside the doors that had only been slowed a bit by Beric...and an army of zombies outside of the building. Suddenly she’s in the Godswood?

Am I the only one who thought Lyanna Mormont killing the giant was a little cheesy? I don’t think she is even much of a character in the books but the showrunners only kept her around because she’s popular.
