Same, not a lot of good stuff here.

I'll probably be adding a lot of 80's music and trip hop stuff.

I sure hope this game doesn't use a lot of DECEPTION in its traps and bosses.

This will be twice as demanding on full settings.

It will be scarier according to the developers.

My body is ready, I think getting scared in a video game is severely stimulating.

This is sort of off topic, but I am surprised Kotaku hasn't reported on Amnesia: A Machine for Pigs getting a release date on Sept 10th.

Not surprised David Cage put someone to sleep.

"no official announcement of the game"

"From what i have seen there has been no official announcement of the game"

My point exactly, it's really just hard to say whether a game will be good or not regardless of development time.

It's really just so specific to what the game is trying to do I guess.

To be fair, the person you got that information from has stated he doesn't know much about Half-Life 3:

"Sorry that I gave the impression that I know what's going on. I really wasn't trying to and I really don't know."

Don't get me wrong, I totally understand why games probably shouldn't take so damn long to make.

People always compare games taking a long development cycle to Duke Nukem, and I never get why.

Duke Nukem Forever was a bad game because of many specific reasons and poor direction, and it wasn't even high expectations that killed it because the game was already bad no matter what.

A game taking a long time doesn't

Imaginary down vote.

Not even a yawn is deserved.

I think the joke went over your head.

I didn't know gamescom was a den.

Fancy.

What are you talking about, Black Mesa gave us a good helping of info before it (FINALLY) came out.

I went on the forums religiously for years, and while the devs were tight lipped they were no where near as quiet as Valve.

Valve has a good reason to do so though, them getting hacked devastated everyone and forced them

"keep that Half-Life 3 dream alive!"

13 was the first final fantasy game I really got into and actually beat.

I enjoyed the battle system (ignoring auto battle most of the time) but didn't like the linear nature because it made every level feel underwhelming and pointless despite the decent visuals.

The story and characters were also shitty to me. None of
