But we don't LIKE HIM as we do Tim. He's not going to get that money from us.
Yes. Unless the glasses are a personality quirk or he was raised by parents that wanted to go 100% natural, then it just comes off as a glaring inconsistency.
Simmer down weeaboo.
I could see the punchline of "guy prematurely ejaculates" a million miles away.
And when have we -ever- seen a Mass Effect character with glasses? (Battle visors don't count) It must be a Japanese creative liberty sort of thing, because it 100% doesn't fit into the Mass Effect we've seen thus far. That or it's a universal lazy shorthand to suggest a character is "brainy" or withdrawn. Neither…

I don't know, but Heavy Rain wasn't it. Unexplained psychic links and characters suddenly knowing each other were pretty big plot holes.
You know, it doesn't matter how good the motion capture and grpahics are if they can't fulfill their mission statement of creating movies through the medium of videogames. I've yet to see one of their works that weren't filled with plot holes and cut content galore.
Anyway, all I know is that Japan has seriously dialed back the frequency of telling approachable, realistic, human stories in their games. I can't immediately think of them repeating the spirit of Silent Hill 2 or Celes actually comitting to suicide in Final Fantasy VI. Or they'll throw something as interesting (not a…
