YA! DI! DI! DOH! PER-KEY STEPP!
FAIR WARNING OF VERY LIGHT ROMANCE SPOILERS
No problem. But about that anime you mentioned? It's kind of poopy. It's from the exact same studio, author, director, the whole nine yards as that "rape as flirting" anime example I mentioned earlier, called "Junjo Romantica". Look carefully, there are next to no women anywhere in that show, even thought they are…
D'aww, the middle one is falling asleep!
I watch less anime than I used to, but I really have to disagree with you on Japan being open about homosexuality at any point in the last couple centuries.
DANG, Daigo makes my heart melt.
I like the Jolteon.
Honey, if you were gay, you'd understand. There are next to no gay heroes, so a huge amount of attention gets paid to games that either portray us fairly or try not to whitewash us out entirely in story-heavy titles.
It's a carryover from arcades when you had to keep putting in quarters.
While I appreciate the gay marriage in it, Skyrim's high fantasy setting does very little for me.
Once again proving how pointless the lives system is in the modern age of gaming.
I LOVE Persona 4, might just be my favorite game of all time, but this is starting to come off as simple milking. I expected Atlus to be a little more repsectful of their series than this.
Volition could have done something cleaver with the censorship and turned it into a tentacle or had the almost pointless little black bar that covers nothing (like Japan itself did to get around censorship laws) but they just caved to pressure and took the most uncreative way out.
Japan says "Think of the children!" today, and then takes camera photos up the skirts of school kids tomorrow.
"Nice Nico Live"
"...it's mind-boggin."
I tend to avoid those games too for similar reasons, yes.
Players like you a big reason I steer clear of Call of Duty in general. You (or perhaps simply a trollish avatar you're sporting right now) represent the worst hardcore gaming has to offer.
Very true. I don't like how that sort of awful behavior find a place to flourish in the most trumpeted release of the year. Sets a bad, bad example and a worse image of the game industry.
Heh, true enough!
