I could not understand why Netflix sat on s2 of Warrior Nun before releasing it. It really seems like they just dragged it out so they could cut costs before canceling it

Too bad. It was not perfect, but I did enjoy the show quite a bit.

once the positive test was confirmed production removed Jenna from set.

It’s true. I really do hope both of them come back. They were absolutely perfect in those roles.

Conversely, I wonder if Feige is getting slightly annoyed with this idea that any previously established property he wants to redo must come attached with the original actors.

I think it’s about 50/50 they’re doing this either to drag out the big reveals and generate as much free publicity as possible, or because they want to make a plot point out of it (“was Karen Page murdered?”) and actually announcing it would spoil a later episode.

Their official policy seems to be to never confirm or deny, whether it’s in reference to AoS or the Netflix shows. Likely so they can pull what they want and ignore what they don’t, or in case they change their mind later.

He was ready to fire a huge chunk of them when they canned him and may be a major reason for his removal. He has said multiple times that he doesn’t think Animation is profitable anymore and

I’d argue that Disney didn’t do enough to get the word out on this one since I just only heard it was out. Haven’t even seen a trailer either.

we need news every morning mini moose

I completely agree, we went last night and a full audience, it plays well to the crowd.

ISTR the Hulk rights thing dates back to the Bill Bixby/Lou Ferrigno show, which was produced by Universal.

These deals are certainly complicated but we do know (or can infer) the answer to several of your questions.

I’ve said it before and I’ll say it again: between Joss Whedon’s clusterfuck and Zack Snyder’s clusterfuck, there is a decent 2hr movie in there for some brave soul to go and cut out of it.

It has over 1.1 billion reasons to get a sequel.

but saying that much is kind of a spoiler. in the sense that they now know exactly what to look for. like the satisfaction of the surprise hasn’t been completely spoiled, but probably reduced by a magnitude of at least 40%
