I read the challenge scene at the end with M’Baku’s glibness with the challenge was because he and Shuri had talked and she thought he should be king so she wouldn’t be at the challenge and have to face him, losing by default.

You’re G-d-damned right you are... RIP!

I think there’s only one logical course of action to take with another Constantine film - Crisis on Infinite Constantines. Keanu, Matt Ryan and Jenna Coleman all at once! Throw a Sting cameo in there too. Hell, track down that guy who told Alan Moore the secret of magic whilst we’re at it.

That’s actually a really good way of looking at it. It wouldn’t surprise me if Gunn is currently looking at literally everything from the past few years of DC - films, TV, animated - to see what worked and what didn’t, and use that to formulate the plans going forward.

Oh for Pete’s sake. The last season really made me want to see the fifth season. If they’d canceled at the end of the third I’d kind of understand, but I feel like they got their mojo back.

And then Ruffalo sticks his head in the frame for one shot and says, “You ain’t kiddin’!”

Hard to maintain interest when you’ve got a year or more hiatus between seasons. That was a pisser all along, you’d get totally invested in a season and -blip- you just had to wait for the next one. 10-12 episodes, and that was it.

Yeah, say what we will about Snyder, I think his casting choices were almost all spot on...

True, but the Harley Quinn movie that introduced Smollet as Black Canary is one of the few bright spots from the DCEU to this point, Smollet was great (my own opinion, but one I believe is widely held) in the role, and the movie is tonally similar to James Gunn’s style (I am admittedly not as familiar with Peter

But it kind of feels like an odd choice for a show that created its cult classic status on low budget solutions for special effects, and made a habit of picking up relative unknowns for major roles.

Pretty much. The BBC has been under brutal scrutiny for the way it spends its money and it has ben subject to harsh cuts ever since 2012, and its budget when it came back from the long hiatus was never particularly great to start with (apparently DW’s budget has never even reached the equivalent of $2 million an

I thought going to crazy lengths to keep secrets like this died with J.J Abrams’s credibility.

I mean Cavill was totally wasted on Snyder’s Superman and _thankfully_ he is still young and fit enough to do a whole other round of Supermanning, I hope this will happen.
And I hope both will not just smash at each other, because the dialog implied some sense of comisering that may not have been what Waller intended

Hey, I found no fault in Fishburne’s response, just in the writer’s lack of due diligence (which I personally try to do even if I’m just typing out an internet comment).

Incorrect.

I kinda want to see Liv Tyler come back as Betty Ross, but I dunno if it’ll happen. Ty Burrell with a green ponytail would be awesome, though, if for nothing else than the ridiculousness of the image of him with green hair. :)

Good. Here’s hoping Cavill gets to be in a Superman movie that’s actually, you know, a good one.

Doesn’t matter what we think, Ford’s gonna be Ross. Am I upset about it? Not really. He’s a decent actor, but I just think it’s gonna end up being a short run as Ross.

I guess you find Brandon Frasier’s feelings about things he knows nothing about interesting

When I was looking though the pictures of “The Mayfair Witches” all I could think of was... why the fuck is Doctor Oz on that show? Sorry Mr. Hamlin.
