To be fair, The Suicide Squad was made before The Slap. But yeah, I would ultimately have preferred Lawton be in TSS (and then spun off for an HBO Max mini-series…) with Elba in the role.

I think the movie is just that bad.  Like really terrible and they had no other choice.

Honestly I’d say the show was off the rails in the very first episode with Archie fucking Ms. Grundy.

I imagine the Spirit movie will have ads plastered all over town around Halloween but the second that's over it will completely evaporate from the public's consciousness as if it were never there.
