That...doesn’t work for me. The Lasso is the Personification of Truth; as said in WW84, Truth is a concept like Justice. Being within it makes you see the truth - not just tell it.

But the movie version seems to forget that he should be vulnerable to magic. There’s no way he should’ve been able to resist the Lasso of Hestia when WW used it on him at the memorial. That scene drives me nuts as a result.
It’s weird, right? DC invented the roadmap for how to do a shared comic universe on screen back in the 90s, and have ignored it ever since.
As much praise as Batman TAS rightfully gets, I think in some ways Superman TAS was an even bigger achievement for both feeling like Superman should and also feeling like it…
It’s...not bad. There are some legit great moments in there, but it’s kind of an incongruent mess. And the Joker scene comes absoultely out of nowhere, and serves absolutely no purpose, as laid out.
Lol, yeah... but TO THE MAX! Also, it’s four hours long.

I think it’s the best Iron Man movie, actually.
The buttons were devised by Branaic and are subteam emblems. Superman’s not smug, he’s just glad to see you.
Because he’s a man and Thurman is a woman who is calling him out so he automatically has a need to defend the man no matter how blatantly wrong he is
The car was a stick shift that was modified to be an automatic. The seat wasn’t properly screwed down. She was afraid to drive it on a winding sandy road.
I was thinking about it and when they made Scooby-Doo originally it was like a bunch of hippies and their dog, right? So now it is a bunch of hipsters and their dog. Makes sense actually.
It is nothing like the black friend defense.
“Lawless does go on to say she would be interested in playing Xenu again”
God I love when they’re all directly confronted with what inclusion means. If you’re gonna let one religion in, you have to let them all!
