Where could the MCU POSSIBLY be going? Were there any hints in the most recent movie, “Doctor Strange 2: Incursion, Incursion, Incursion, Incursion, Incursion?”

I have real trouble imagining that that isn’t a Princess Leia series, assuming it’s real (always a risk with the Mirror).

Yes

Counter counter point - Season two was also good and filled in a lot of things from season one.

Jesus. Harsh!

What the hell is wrong with Ezra Miller?

I would say part of it is that with principal photography being completed a year ago that to try to cast a new actor, rebuild the sets, and bring back the other actors who have moved on to other projects would be impossible or at least cost-prohibitive.

Dammit! Now I just realized why I kept thinking Black Adam looked…off, to me. It’s the ears! Yeah, wtf?? Just keep the pointy ears!

depp was cut at the beginning of shooting, not once shooting was wrapped.

Besides, Warner has a much bigger problem on its hands with Ezra Miller, whose situation has become worse and worse over the past few days.

Beat me to the Ezra Miller thing. io9 hasn’t touched that story, or the one involving Satine Phoenix and Jamison Stone, for some reason.

Kind of surprised that io9 would cover this before doing anything on the current weird ass allegations Ezra Miller is being hit with.

“Fuck you, Barry"

I’m assuming that WB is just going to ignore it, minimize Heard’s appearance in marketing, and hope everybody moves on before March. But I don’t think it’s impossible that they would recast her because 1) they cut Depp from the Fantastic Beasts movies when he became a pariah and 2) her role is apparently pretty small

fans are probably going to be shocked

Neither of those films scream “MCU” but they’re both solid, character-driven films that show command of the form. If Marvel thinks he can pull it off, who are we to say otherwise?

Same, I think they gave away too much.

I hope Ruth Buzzi and Jim Nabors step out of the Saucer...

I agree, though I think that an animated show is probably the best way to go if you want to continue selling that IP. The cartoon, while beloved, wasn’t exactly high art, so you can clearly improve on it more easily than you can improve on the original film. It worked for TMNT multiple times.
