We don’t know what kind of scene they were shooting or what the action is supposed to be. You are looking at actors between scenes with non-wardrobe coats over their costumes. Nobody ever looks right in these kinds of set photos, and there is certainly no way to judge their performances. Have a little optimism. These

Laura Ingraham is no victim. She does not engage in free speech. She practices sponsored speech. As long as the person who owns Fox News wants viewers to hear what she wants to say, then she will have that venue to spew her loathsome opinions, supposed boycotters be damned. Same with the publishers who print her

If the Disney-Fox deal actually gets completed, and the Justice Department is not viewing it favorably at the moment, it will still be several years before you are going to see any Fantastic Four or X-Men merging into the MCU. If I understand what Kevin Feige has said recently, he is not even thinking of touching any

It would be nice if The Atom got to actually use his main powers and shrink once in a while. Right now he’s kind of like Iron Man Lite, and not even that often. It’s disappointing, if only because flying around and blasting stuff has nothing to do with what Ray Palmer is supposed to be able to do. At the moment, I

Also, there’s a chance Harvey Weinstein might pop out of whatever pit he’s hiding in to try and make some claim to the profits from this show. At Miramax, Weinstein and his brother Bob once controlled the Lord Of The Rings movie rights and became “profit participants” on the original trilogy when it went to Warner

Yeah, except that everyone is staring at a giant space ship that is suddenly hovering over New York City. Nobody’s paying attention to the kid and the school bus.

You do remember the Fairy Queen warning Irene that she had made a very dangerous deal and would come to regret it. I think that there may have been some hidden retribution built into the deal. I’m hoping that there is some way for the Fairy Queen to resurrect herself, because more Candice Cayne is always welcome on

That was not the Band Of Brothers film I thought I was walking into.

It reminds me of an old In Living Color Sketch where the kids are all named after consumer products. I think David Alan Grier repurposed it on Jimmy Kimmel. I wish I could find a clip of the original sketch. I recall a child named Absorbine Jr.

I watch CW through the app now because I hardly watch anything live anyway, and the app doesn’t require any provider login. I’m a beta-tester for DirecTV Now, and it’s improving despite some lingering glitches. I can use Cloud DVR, but I don’t very often. Even with a skinny bundle, it seems I still have more TV to

It was always a stupid theory, but just the kind of behind the scenes rancor that certain types of fanboys love: a spiteful corporate spat that makes no sense. A successful Fantastic Four movie franchise would only help to sell more FF comics. Marvel has nothing to gain when Fox’s Marvel-based movies fail, especially

Whether it streams live on DirecTV Now or YouTubeTV appears to have something to do with who owns the local affiliate. I live in New York City, and when CBS became available to DirecTV Now, CW was also supposed to be included, however, it never appeared on my channel lineup, possibly because the local affiliate did

There is I think a certain type of person who has convinced themselves that everyone obsesses over “cultural appropriation” issues. Yes, a “Shogun World” is probably culturally insensitive, which seems negligible when you are talking about immersive theme parks where you can shoot androids who are not discernible from

Marvel builds reshoots into the movie filming schedule. They always have for quite some time. They shoot the script and then schedule three weeks or so to add stuff they like or replace things that didn’t work. It’s commercial filmmaking. These are not auteur stories, and it seems to work OK for them.

I’m really not sure why they are making another “Death of Superman” animated movie since they already made one not so long ago and they just used it in the whole DCEU mess. It’s like they can’t think of any other Superman stories despite decades of source material to sift through. So lazy

So far, they have never passed up an opportunity for a Peggy Carter cameo. I don’t see why they would start now.

Korath is the name of Djimon Hounsou’s character.

Must it be somebody’s fault? Sometimes things just don’t work out.

It did, played by James Marsters in several appearances.

I can’t imagine that they would pass an opportunity its for Thanos to meet “Death” after they have recently introduced such a spectacular personification of it. I would tend to think, however, that Hela would show up in the sequel next year rather than in Infinity War. You have to save something for the follow up.
