All of these other stories were making me wonder if anyone was like me or my significant other when we were kids. I was so into maps that the only crying was when my Dad wouldn’t drive an extra 5km so I could see some random place. My gf was apparently so into books that her parents used to actually get mad at her

When I was little my Dad once somehow created a game of not letting the cows see you. Makes no sense I know. But me, my brother & sister, we found it hilarious. “OMG COWS! DUCK! DON’T LET HIM SEE YOU!” he’d yell every time we’d pass a cow. We’d all duck, laughing like crazy. We’d spend the entire trip trying to spot

Okay, I won’t even.

Minnesotan here, it isn’t and isn’t a thing (big example jump here, but it’s relatable to me, it’s akin to how being Jewish is both a religion and a race :P ).

I grew up in Central MN, and both of the local places in town - places that had been open since my dad was a kid - did pizza exactly like this. Does that make in Minnesota-style as a marketable brand? Nah. But it’s definitely the style of pizza that’s prevalent in older, non-chain pizza places in the state.

The Biggest Loser should inspire people to lose weight and gain some health. The techniques used on that show, however, should not. Many are dangerous and won’t lead to healthy long-term weight loss.

As editor in chief of Splinter, I must state that Splinter does not endorse Hamilton Nolan’s views about the eclipse. I do, however, support him emotionally.

Thank you for the article. Too often it is very easy to write off Christians as part of the problem instead of part of the solution. Jesus taught a inclusive church and purposely sought out those that the rest of society had neglected or ignored. Today many people are what you could call a “Tarzan Christian”: The

I remember watching this video on MTV when I was in middle school and loving it and watching my dad just shake his head like, “WHY?” lol.

I saw her!

Anyone else particularly unnerved by the music? Something about discordant skittering string instruments to let you know SOMETHING IS VERY WRONG AND BAD.

Amazing things for us, definitely. And for the U.S. Maybe even for Ashley, I’m not going to discount that, either.

Please do an entire Would U focused exclusively on Ashley and the pee tape. Please. Do it for democracy.

Not this one?

ME: tolerance and peace is the best way to go through life. we shouldn’t infringe on somebody who’s just doing what they want
ALSO ME: we should destroy every teen

Judge Kara Brown, ladies and gents.

As a fellow Minneapolis resident and human being, I’m horrified by this incident, and saddened by the loss. I can only say that her tragic death may have some positive influence on the obvious issues of police incompetence and injustice. As a black male, I know that my death at the hands of the police wouldn’t change

hmmmmmmmm, though it’s sort of adorable to imagine a version of me that would stop doing something simply because my boyfriend wanted me to, that’s not what happened here.
