As a survivor of Central IL, I never did find a good one. Maybe it’s changed since I left. If you ever get to KC, you can always get the Portabella Z-man at Joe’s. As a KC resident myself, I will concur with your assessment. There are still people around like the 17-year-old you that refuse to acknowledge Oklahoma Joe’s (as it will forever be known) greatness, but to each their own. I personally don’t like Bryant’s and only somewhat like Gates.

I’m convinced they’d bring my youngest back.
