The things I’ve read suggest that his main reason for doing it was because he expected German to be the dominant language in the world, and putting it in “Latin” letters instead of Fraktur would help it spread. (It wouldn’t surprise me, though, if there was another reason.)

I’m always happy to see a new map come out, but I wish it weren’t a control map. I get the feeling I’m in the minority, but I HATE control maps—in part because they often seem to last so long. I really wish they had some kind of “block map” or—even better—“block map type,” at least in Quick Play.
