They are amazing, but not good in rain. One winter in Ireland destroyed a pair forever. :-(

She definitely did seem nervous and maybe not totally comfortable with it? I can't blame her and hopefully she finds something which suits her better.

But the real question - do they actually shop at Tiffany's?

But with a whole heap of anger from One Direction fans...

To be honest, people descended from Irish emigrants claiming to be Irish greatly irritates actual Irish citizens, so...

Except that they need a receiver and (for obvious) reasons, there has to be a few on back up, although not many. And there's no evidence that non-Receiver pale eyed children present a particular problem.

I am definitely a fan of young Ian over Jamie as my romantic hero. BUT: I am curious as to how long the Catriona Balfe and Sam Heughan are contracted for, as that would tell us how closely they're adhering to the books...

But the sperm donation has to come from somewhere, right? So I totally read it as he was the sperm donor for the pale eyed children as the pale eyes were so rare.

I'll spare you a massive rant on how Irish is taught in the Irish school system, but needless to say, current methods of preserving it is not having much effect and so if this makes it a bit more interesting than grammar texts, I'll be happy.

I would disagree that there's no "college experience" elsewhere. If college experience involves spending most of first year wasted, that definitely happened where I attended (Dublin.)

That was not my experience at all. Due to the free fees scheme we have, many, many underprivileged students paid their school year expenses through part-time and summer jobs. And as the country which pretty much defines drinking culture, we had quite a bit of sexual assault excused through substance issues.

Although there is an implication in there that the Giver was the father of the children with "pale" eyes, no?

Because by all accounts, he was fleeing. Police can only fatally shoot someone if they are in fear for their lives or another officer

Cape Henlopen is one of those beach towns that is flooded with people in the summer and then becomes super conservative during the school year when it goes back to being just the year-long residents.

Oh, definitely. But in the end, it's all about the money, isn't it?

Oh, sorry! It did indeed and I don't know how to edit. But yes, I was going to say that apparently there was a big sales difference when they were remarked as romance. For better or worse, branding them as romance cost her money, which I would imagine would make you testy.

Well, it's Star Trek, so really, the warning should be: the Irish will suffer. A lot.

Heh. The Visit Scotland people should require you to write their ads. ;-)

I think that's definitely a fair trade for using Glendalough to be "Scotland." But definitely, I don't know how anyone can watch a season of Outlander and not want to plan a holiday to Inverness.

This was filmed in Scotland, though? If nothing else, it really probably serves Visit Scotland quite well...
