she's become that character who treats everyone like crap but everyone lets her get away with it because she's good at something. props to them that they're doing this with a woman instead of the usual maverick male, but i'm still not into it. there used to be more balance of giving a crap. like her iconic line “Sexy,…
of course she did! that woman outlived everyone in that damn show. she's unstoppable.
needed webisode: amy's weeks of rants about YOLO
it's to bring them back on schedule after a long hiatus. personally i wish they'd run new eps into the summer but i guess fox has plans for that time.
this was when i realized something could break my heart and crack me up at the same time
i like to think of it as joan choosing to blend into her surroundings.
i feel like it was kind of political. it was about the pressure men don't even realize they put on women to be perfect & how it can come back to bite them in the ass.
i thought last man standing was the one starring robert baratheon and the brunette i liked from a quickly killed lady cop show like ten years ago.
and the guy who WAS good at the manly activities was all "girly and sensitive" (aka considerate and good-natured).
from what i've heard, scott walker only ever does things if he knows they're irresponsible
gone girl is anti-feminist? that's news to me! i thought it was more misandrist than anything.
"darnit, dad. stop reminding me!"

that is a very cool theory!
it's gotten to the point where killing joong-ki is basically self defense, though. she's not just avenging her father; the guy has actively tried to kill her more than once.
i'd have less of a hard time with it if he hadn't sent two different teams of assassins after her. limiting his evil to the off-screen murder of their dad would've left a glimmer of hope that he'd been coerced and could be redeemed. letting him live doesn't feel like a mercy so much as an embarrassingly short-sighted…
i was referring to season one, after riley passed out at her dad's concert and she was unconscious at the hospital.
lol i was literally on twitter screaming updates about how little time was left
i totally get it from an in-character standpoint, which totally fits with her decision last season to go to jail for him. i'm just tired of the trope of a hero killing henchmen left and right, but the narrative trying to make the audience believe this one specific death would destroy who they are.
