Easy, a postal truck. Small, maneuverable, lots of cargo space, and simple enough. I can't wait to buy an LLV

Yea exactly! The dmv lady didn't say it, but my wife has gotten called a green card hunter on more than one occasion. I lost my cool when some lady called my kids anchor babies. People are shit.

Ya know, I’ve been an avid jalopnik reader since 2007. I keep seeing these whiney comments about how jalopnik is going downhill and I’m calling bull shit. There was a time there a few years ago when jalop sort of lost its way and a lot of great writers left and the focus went to mediocre reviews with some David

My wife, an English citizen who never got her license there, came to the states with me in 2015. In tx, the test wasn’t the issue, our issue was getting them to believe she was legally in the country and needed a drivers license and getting an appointment to test made.

Bought a 2018 model 3 inApril from Vroom for ~$32 out the door. Just got an offer from them (out of curiousity) and after being in an accident they offered $34,995.

We just got a 2022 telluride and love it. We wanted a model y but they are very thin on the ground. This thing is ugly as a concept but in its final production form, maybe along the lines of what we want. After owning my model 3 for ~6 months, I'm not super keen on getting another Tesla and would rather move to an 7

Beat me to it!

Steve, I like the silliness you have. I think you're a good fit for jalopnik. Well done.

I had a great experience with vroom and had better financing with them for my last car purchase but those numbers do seem to fluctuate between the 2. My biggest complaint was the time waited and lack of communication between when the papers were signed and when we took delivery of the car.

I went through all of this to renew in coryell county a few months ago. I ended up scheduling an appointment 2 weeks out and they refused (despite no actual requirement to have all of these) to renew my license without proof of residence, birth certificate, social security card and another form of ID (passport). I’ve

Holy crap! I remember seeing ads for these in my grand parents National Geographic magazines right when they came out and trying to convince my parents that it would be a much better vehicle choice than our light purple Nissan Quest.

I'm saying v6 chargers with the pentastar. My wife had one as a rental when her car got hit. It was astoundingly quick for what it was. I expected it to drag a bit more like our old journey with a pentastar but I was pleasantly surprised

Oh quit belly aching. Driving a car into a human person is ALWAYS WRONG. Don’t give some bullshit “come back with the facts.” The fact is, it's wrong to use a car as a weapon. Full stop. Find a better way to justify attempted murder.

My adopted brother is black and paraplegic. This exact concern is a huge part of why he doesn’t drive. We live in central Texas. 2 years ago a cop shot and killed a black man who had turned on his hazards and parked in a lit area after being pulled over.

I work for one of Elon’s companies and drive a Tesla. I like my job, and I like my car because it’s fun to drive and saves me in driving cost over my last car. I also live relatively close to the new factory being built in Austin, so I've seen how insanely big these factories are.

This!!!! 1000x’s this! I’m a dad to 4 awesome daughters (oldest is 8) and I constantly have to steer conversations towards their interests with my family. The “your hair is so pretty,” and “look at your eyes!” they get from grandparents and aunts is really nice, but I have a real concern of them developing self image

This was the first thing that stood out to me. It's a really beautiful design overall. Would drive!

I used to pass this shit daily near Waco before I moved into the city. If it wasn’t this setup, it was a black American flag. I’m not a paranoid person, but being anywhere left of fascist in Texas is becoming dangerous and for the sake of my daughters, my immigrant wife and I, I may start being one of those losers

I had an ‘05 expedition back before all this over landing became the big fad. I had it on 2" pucks with 35" open country at’s, an aluminum roof rack I built, a front mounted receiver hitch (and hitch mounted winch). I pulled the back seats out and had a platform and mattress in it. Made for an awesome camping/fishing

I’m not typically one to jump in defending Tesla, but I have been driving for about a week with safety score running and with the exception of slowing down a little bit through turns, I havent really seen much change in my driving behavior and have a 97. Most of my mark downs have been from “aggressive turning” and
