that cab sure does look alot like a first generation colorado/canyon/i-series doesn’t it? I know that’s a pretty commonly cribbed design, so maybe it is?

Thank you! my wife is a painter and has been playing with interior design for a few years and this was a really cool way for her to showcase her work.

They dropped us unceremoniously as soon as they realized it was a schoolbus

I’ll look into that. Is it rollable? I thought about using rustoleum tractor paint too but I like the flexibility and durability of the monstaliner.

Thanks! I really like the color combination but the paint job hasn’t been a great. We’re thinking about redoing it in a slightly darker blue from Monstaliner next year. Please do! I built stuff and my wife made it look good. It’s definitely a team effort! Please do some write ups on your build as you go!

I looked at getting my non-cdl B in Texas, but i found it easier to get my GVWR dropped when I changed my title to a motorhome. It’s the same thing commercial truck owners(and Uhaul) regularly do

Try StateFarm. Progressive and allstate turned us away but our Statefarm agent got us full coverage with road side assistance for $38 a month as a school bus converted to an RV. StateFarm and National General seem to be the only 2 that are consistent about insuring schoolies. We had progressive commercial insurance

Thanks! it was a labor of love for sure but worth the work

YESS!!! The Vermont Loophole! We just went through the process of getting our bus registered in The Peoples Republic of Texas (where you are only free to own guns and pollute... everything else is regulated to the point of stupidity) who are in the middle of changing registration processes. They made the old processes

In our Honda Odyssey, our 80 lb ball of fur, Gus, is usually sitting in the back row next to my oldest daughter watching whatever movie is playing and enjoying the attention. When we ride in our bus conversion he’s plopped down on the rug in front of the sofa like he’d be at home waiting for someone to drop a snack or

That’s been my problem for years and I generally go the wrong with purchases. Buy high, sell low! Turns out, few others enjoy a crappy but interesting car as much as I do!

I’m going to have to be the bummer here... W8 manual is awesome, but not the most interesting vehicles in your garage. That goes to the buell lightning and the bus! I had a bored out buell blast about 10 years ago I wrapped around a tree on the 1 day I WASN’T pushing it to it’s limits. Gotta love debris in the road! I

Good Buy! We love our Odyssey

Tesla doesn’t launch rockets. SpaceX and Tesla are completely seperate companies with some overlap and partnership, but that’s about the extent of it. What Tesla does doesn’t have direct impact on SpaceX and vice-versa.

I have a really hard time accepting the new supra in any form, especially when the 86 is such a damn good car! I feel like the supra was an attempt to pander to young gen x’s and older millennials that are beginning to be affluent enough to afford to be nostalgic. It should be great. All the right boxes are checked.

I remember seeing this sort of thing (not the same model but similar enough) based on Bedford, Fiat, Renault, and Ford vans when I was in England. They were mostly moving horses, but a trailer is a lot harder to drag around tight C roads than a van with a box on the back

I agree, that particular one is pretty pricey. Carmax has a 2012 Pro-4x with 57k miles for 2k less. But unless really regular off road trips are going to happen, I’d go with a 4x4 xterra without the pro-4x package and save a good chunk of change.

I’m going to rain on some parades here but for a family DD, the JDM options aren’t great. Awesome machines, but there are some real drawbacks.

If you go the other direction, Bristol’s were built with kidney grilles that are left over from when they started building BMW based cars (the 400 series)

Not going to pretend like I havent always wanted a reatta... maybe one with an Impala SS LS and transmission swapped in.
