Pulling a vacuum on a container would be insanely dangerous. You could purge them with gaseous nitrogen but that’s an asphyxiation risk for workers around them. Possibly irradiate all containers the way some are done but that’s assuming nothing is on the outside and have flown away before the containers are moved.

This! I've been saying for years how I can't wait to ship one over! My sister in law briefly had a later model green one with the body colored bumpers. It was a blast to drive and when compared to my 86 mini, I think it's the closest to a classic mini driving experience in a newer car you can get. So awesome!

There's an orange beetle with a sheet metal bed hanging out of the engine bay and one of the rolls Royce style kit car hoods on it. It is on top of a truck frame of some kind

What a bad ass project. The 67-69 mustangs are definitly meaner looking, but there is something about the early coupes that gets me. They just seem more compact and cool and look like the kind of thing that could make a really fun mountain road car with the right mild suspension upgrades.

I had a teacher in high school that was towing a 5th wheel cattle trailer with his early 90's (91 maybe?) F350 single wheel with a stick. Ac cut across in front of him and he t-boned the car. Driver in the other car died. My teacher’s engine ended up sitting in against the middle of the bench seat where the shifter

Shoot, I’d still pick my minivan!

By using vans and small pickups

I have a little family farm. Our minivan and utility trailer have been more practical for our uses than either pickup we had was. A pickup can't practically be left with a load in the bed and still be usable, a trailer can be. A pickup can't practically carry 5 people, 2 big dogs, and 4 goats. A minivan with a trailer

Lets be really though, despite some decent fleet sales numbers, huge portions are bought by suburbanites that may one day but a boat or need to tow a uhaul trailer and use that as justification. It’s the same crap with SUV’s.

I bet you're alot of fun at parties

There is something about this generation of accords that is so badass. It reminds me alot of a volvo 480 es

I worked for gamestop when I was a senior in high school... fuck them and their shitty corporate policies. There’s a reason they are struggling.

My neighbor has a baby blue imported jimny pickup that I just for every time i pass it. One day i may knock on their door and make an offer

Great write-up and I agree on every point. I drove my lhd Tacoma and journey in England for years and never really had any issues except for passing

Dont need to change your mind because you're right!

I agree completely. There are objectively good cars out there. There are awesome drivers cars, luxurious cars, or just plain cool cars. But there is something endearing about a shitty car. A crappy car with something really strange or interesting can have more character than a “good” car. I’d take a god aweful ugly

I have ALWAYS wanted a comanche. When I was stationed in England in 2010, i considered buying a buddies beater 2wd comanche and bringing it with me to swap a uk market diesel, late model front end swap, and rhd 4x4 conversion. Diesel cherokees are a dime a dozen in Europe so I figured it would be cool.

Not really, but the difference is that no world leader yells "Commander Cheeto!" when someone says something they don't like.

Thats true. But I'd think it'd do 60mph evening that's flat out

My neighbor on base bought one shortly before I moved back to the States. I had an Austin 1100 auto at the time that I daily drove and had gotten fairly good at tinkering on.
