that’s exactly what I thought from a complicated stand point or from a simplified point would be run a relay switched by the 3rd brake light or the brake light switch on the pedal to control brake lights, another from parking lights for tail lights, and another from each front turn signals for the signals. It wouldn’t

I know more Millennials that take the time to fix and preserve what they have and more boomers that are wasteful. Mend and make do. And we Millennials tend to figure out ways to fix things that are more complicated than wiring a lightbulb. Take some time to watch some tutorials on Youtube or forums.

And I just saw you’re going to the drive, so I'll be there!

Looks like I need to start checking that site out more!

Patrick, I didn't always agree with your opinions, but I can genuinely say I respect them and looking forward to reading them. You'll definitely be missed. Good luck in your future endeavors and I'll look out for any future writing.

How on Earth did we forget about a focus ST? Practical? Check (regularly fit 3 carseats and associated accessories in it), fun, safe, only available in a manual and a low mileage 2017 can be had for right around 20k

This. 1000 times this. On a related note, people moving onto the shoulder (doing near the speed limit) to let you pass. I’ve had my windshield cracked 3 different times by trucks in rural areas driving on the shoulder at the speed limit to try to get me to pass them in a curve or going up a hill. It’s ok for someone

My mother in law bought a diesel one (Pajero)from a gypsy in a pub in England for £1000 then dumped another £3500 into it to try to get it to run right before selling it at a huge loss. Amazingly cool truck but that particular one was a money pit.

Anytime I’ve been to Newark airport.

I could see it. I don't see any other people in the limelight filling those shoes.

Nope. Crack pipe. Maybe at $1000, but that’s a stretch too. Too many questionable decision on it. We’re door poppers ever actually cool to anyone except middle school kids in the mid naughts? And flames? Nah I’m good. It's basically a shitty restomod in the style of every Discovery channel and speed channel car show

Are the middle class not considered working? Or if you are a manual laborer "working" means you aren't middle class? $20ish an hour is nothing to turn a nose at, especially for a manual labor sort of job. In that sense they are absolutely working for the fighting for the working middle class.

Im glad to hear you're recovering! My wife (and 3 daughters and 2 big ol dogs) just took the leap and bought an 83 Winnebago. We plan to pull my focus ST behind it. I just showed my wife this article and we are now brainstorming an income.

I know look at all that dissipated energy!

I work with a guy that drove from Abiline to just outside Waco Texas and back every day. It’s like 6 hours round trip. He recently got an RV at a local RV park and goes home on the weekends.

That isnt strictly true. The UK has the highest per capita rate of convertible purchases in the world (when the weather is good, enjoy it) and in the days of global GM product planning, it made absolute sense to bring a product to every market it was possible to feasibly bring it to, just to ensure that every chance

You have no idea how accurate this is!

My sister in law briefly had an all olive green 1st gen Ka when she first got her license in England. That car was a blast and I firmly believe it will be a future classic.

Mr. Oliver speaks truth. My English wife is a legal immigrant who dealt with the crappy immigration process while dealing with the garbage that comes with being a military spouse and moving around the world all while having some maga knuckle draggers have the audacity to call our children anchor babies. We didnt deal

Those round headlights conversions on 80 and 100 series cruiser are are amazing
