More to the point. How did Adam Lallana get the royal box?

It certainly wasn't marketed as being an NBC show here. Really, no one gives a shit or knows anything about NBC, ABC, CBS or what have you. They're just meaningless acronyms to us. Pretty much any worthwhile American TV is just presumed to be an HBO show, like a flip of how America thinks all British TV they get is

Wasn't Blackhat supposed to be really bad? Like straight to video in some places bad.

They'd inspire me to drive full speed into the central reservation.

Seuno Latino. What a tune… By an Italo House band remixed by a genius from Michigan. Zut alors.

Salesmanship 101

Maiden was the second gig I ever went to. Somewhere On Tour, Birmingham Odeon, Halloween, 1986.
First was Metallica the month before, a week before Cliff Burton died.

Can't help thinking that performance got him cast as Nick Clegg too.

Any producer thinking they were going to get a franchise out of His Dark Materials and whatever the collective term for the Ender books is had clearly never read past the first books.

hell, fucker!

He needs to Kreigerise his van decor for next season.

In defence of Mike Patton and his fashion in 1989.
Everyone in the rock scene back then was dressed in black heavy metal band shirts, tight jeans, combat boots and leather or denim… Basically looking like prepubescent Jim Martins. There'd not really been a new look in rock since the fucking 70's.
Mike Patton gave us a

I don't think I've ever heard it. Think I tuned out of Mr Bungle after OU818 and the first album, my music tastes were heading in other directions at the time. Need to remedy that as I loved that stuff back in the day.

I'm absolutely smitten with TV Arabella. I can't remember either whether she's that charming in the book.

Yup. The Bowiealike doesn't really work for me. Combination of costuming, terrible wig and the performance. It's been the one weak link for me in what has been a pretty good adaptation.
