Hyundai Elantra Coupe (AT) - What a POS that could never seem to figure out the proper gear to be in and she must have bought the only 2-door version in CA. Stupidly hard to get in/out of those back seats. She also purchased it in black and instantly covered it in hard water spots from a neighbors sprinkler system.

Woo! Finally, some props from Jalopnik. Here is mine (1 of 7 with S54, LSB/Black):

Hello English guy.
I’d like to ask.
Are you fucking high? Seriously. Noone takes a 20 year old Z3 to the dealership for maintenance, and being based on an E36, they are more than simple enough to work on yourself, about the same degree as a Miata.

And thanks to 3-series underpinnings, quite a bit of aftermarket support.

There are 40 year old idiots and 21 year olds far more careful. I’m in my mid-20s and I’ve driven many supercars with 500+ HP, but since I respect not only my life and others, but other people’s property, I don’t drive like a madman on public roads. Also, there are far more stories of idiots crashing non-sports cars

I have a mechanic that has worked on most of my out-of-warranty cars for the last 10+ years, including installing a lot of go-fast parts. Even so he always tells me when he is going to do high-speed, cornering, or acceleration testing (not in those exact words necessarily). So I feel like I’ve assumed the risk that

I’m the opposite; if you put your signal on, I’ll let you in (if it’s a legal merge/lane change) but if I can tell that you want to get over, but are unwilling to signal, I close that gap up tight.

Spotted in Jaipur, India amidst throngs of rickshaw traffic - did I mention the convertible top was down for the full smog affect.

I’ve caught a couple bike track days at Laguna in the rain. While not fun for putting down fast times, I find the rain experience very valuable and helps to learn the limits of the rear tire at a more gentle pace.

Be careful in the surrounding areas. I just in Carmel and Big Sur over the weekend and while Carmel seemed fine, HWY 1 has numerous mudslides and sunken pavement. It was fun driving through in a FWD turbodiesel with a Torsen, but some sections of road have dropped a few inches.

Front end was contained and yet the back still went for the nearest grouping of bystanders

Good god, so much rain. I hope you get a dry day. In fact, all of us in CA would love to see a decent dry stretch. Haven’t been able to go out for a proper drive or ride in many weeks.

Happy to help.

Do your homework, plenty of reputable outfits out there offer refinance and loan consolidation with income-based payments and unemployment benefits.

I agree. It was never intended to be a full time job nor does it need to be. If someone wants to scrap by on uber alone that’s their choice but don’t expect me to feel bad.

Unless you’re a race car driver, who cares about 0-60, top speed, lap times, etc?! I understand wanting to improve your track times every time you’re on track but who cares what the car is capable of with super-slick tires and a pro driver behind the wheel? I will fully admit I have never taken a true sports car to

We turned my wife’s 428 in for a 228 and it’s a blast to drive. The 4 was more luxury for sure in the overall feel, but this little thing is great. We were able to lease a 2016 just pulled out of the loaner pool with 5900k miles on it. Fully loaded with dakota leather, HK stereo, comfort keyless, etc.. for 32K. And

I bought this BMW for under $30K are I argue its a lot better, albeit less practical. Did I choose wrong?

Now playing

I think this was the original, original F&F trailer from 2001, that got everyone out of their seats. It’s a much better scored and sequenced trailer in my opinion.

I did something simlar and added an F80 CP M3 for kid duty (1M stays in the garage most of the time). The wife didn’t like the RS and it was difficult to buy (also got a great deal on the M3).
