Thanks for the reply. I have experience with this a little from the Air Force side working in AMC. You could write a book I’m sure about supply chain for naval Aviation and it would be fascinating.

Nerd alert! Ok just kidding. That’s cool
Maybe if you Brits and French wouldn’t have appeased the Germans and let them build up in violation of the Versailles treaty we wouldn’t have had to come bail you out AGAIN for the 2nd time in 20 years. Chamberlain was a pussy
I’ve been a loyal reader forever and my DD is a newer Passat. So what I still am an enthusiast I just have a life where I work a lot and have 2 little kids etc. Just how it is
I can’t imagine the logistic nightmare keeping spare parts for all those aircraft. Tech data. Trained air crew and maintenance personnel. Holy shit
1992 Integra. One of the times I remember actually punching my car. Hard. PITA brake job
You know, I’d probably hate it too if in our own sovereign country a superpower constantly floated the largest aircraft carriers ever made by our shores. I wouldn’t go shooting shitty little rockets at it though.....talk about poking the hornets nest with a stick. “Lets see if we can piss off those people there with…
Those 4 F101’s are thirsty. And the Bone requires quite a bit of maintenance to keep operating as well. It’s not a cheap aircraft to operate by any means.
Well this airplane was planned as a strategic bomber. Now it’s being used for CAS. Not sure what that says about planning. Interesting
As they were in WW2. Apparently they didn’t learn anything from that.
Good thing they all fight for the same team.....save to 80
Technically the German tanks at the start of the war werent very good. Their tactics were. And they learned from those tactics and facing better tanks that they needed to develop better tanks and they did. And anyways they weren’t “supposed” to be making tanks anyways in the 1930’s....
Listen Douche did they say they are picking a G19 because it’s their preference? It’s probably all about money. The Sig is a better handgun ask anyone who knows anything about guns.
It’s simple. Very accurate. Easy to shoot. No safety to mess with. Has a decocker. Accepts 226 mags. Is steel. Shoots SA. Has a better trigger. Etc
If they wanted a polymer gun a 320 is a good choice.
Just as many units use Sig Sauer. Glocks are cheaper. They are reliable but I think they are chunky, not very accurate and their triggers suck.
Exactly if they wanted a polymer DA gun why not a 250 or p320??? The 320 IS designed to be a one size for all.
Dumb. Sig>Glock and it’s not even close. Only reason I see this is cost savings. I own both and my 228 is SUPERIOR to my G19 in almost every way. Yes it costs a little more and is a little heavier, but when it comes to doing what guns are made for which is shooting the Sig is superior. And don’t even get into…
Great article for sure. My only recommendation is to add possibly download a factory service manual. For the price of a Haynes or Chilton sometimes you can get a FSM for less.
BS. His first trip as President was the apology tour of 2008. Then didn’t sign the SOFA, pulled troops out and with the vacuum he left behind coupled with his support to rise up and be heard caused the Arab Spring.
