They really found a way to make Shayera the sauciest person in the league between episodes like this and her implied one night stand with Carter Hall, huh?

In the Christmas episode of JL, he has some Oreos at the Kents for what I think is the first and only time. He really enjoyed them, from what I remember.
Yea, they just had all the old backgrounds and models just sitting around, waiting for someone to play with them.
Bats isn't present for the debrief at then end, is he? I'm pretty sure he'd roll his eyes at John's revelation that no one is to be trusted.
Babel may be my favorite episode of the entire series. Just a top to bottom well-told story.
He does say that Capt. Atom's top speed still isn't great enough to get there in time.
Yea, he's very much caught off guard by being visited by two near immortal people when he's at the physically weakest we've seen him as an adult.
Justice League Unlimited is on netflix and is everything you're looking for. So is Young Justice, but I only watched like 4 episodes of that before I got bored. Your kids probably won't feel the same, hopefully.
Batman and the non-powered heroes teaming up to keep an eye on the League and Cadmus would have totally worked with the way Batman/Question/Huntress/Green arrow are treated in the final version of the story.
Really? I always liked their status as burned exes and Melanie as Terry's sort of "personal failure" a la Harvey Dent.
yeeeeessss. so happy this is back. really missed these reviews and the great community of people.
I think that was part of the point. Batman's really trying to intimidate (and seeing it work/fail) in TDK, where it's more of his fully formed identity in Rises.
I meant in animation, sorry for not being clearer
I'll say it again: bring back Terry McGinnis. I also said this last week and it got lost in the giant shuffle:

I keep hoping that one day there'll be a Batman Beyond set after "Epilogue" that uses the hard light idea so that Terry can have an AI version of Bruce to talk to during each episode. One can dream…
Personally, I find that storyline very well-written, especially from the perspective of portraying non-White characters. There's is something noticeably different about how Vixen and John interact compared to John and Shayera, and it is not just personality traits. You get the sense that Vixen and John easily bond…
What I really like about this episode is the payoff down the line with the actual "villain" of the episode. It's obviously furthering the gov't vs. JLU plot, but sneaking in a motivating factor for the later events.
Yea, Batman's reaction face, both horrified and angry, is awesome. Watching those two go head to head in season 2 is awesome.
Squeaky wheel…
I can't be the only one who noticed that if you take the first two parts of "Last Son of Krypton" and combine them with "Blasts from the Past," you essentially wind up with Man of Steel, right?
