A really nice write-up of an episode that's really important, but sadly didn't get further developed. I really wish this would have been a two-parter that went into what Dick was up to while he was away from Gotham. Batman: the Lost Years was pretty cool if only to see the Boy Wonder take on Ra's al Ghul and win.

Agreed on exosquad. Great show

"The episodes of this series that have the hero facing off against a
shadowy organization are almost always less interesting than having him
fight his rogues’ gallery."

Pretty sure that's where the jetpack got its start, but my memory is shaky.

Most of the women in this show have boobs like that.

You're talking about the Spellbinder episode where she think Terry killed Mad Stan, right? I'd never thought of her reaction in that way. That's an awesome point.

My favorite line: "I'm pleased you remember me, Mr. Wayne. I thought I'd never feel your spine crumble in my hands."

"Just like old times" definitely beats out dropping Sal Maroni off a fire escape in TDK. Though the shear balls of Batman breaking a guys legs in a movie was incredibly surprising.

What about "Oops! Fell in love again. What am I gonna tell my friends?" from JLU?

Thanks for the correction.

I think that's meant to be Stephanie Brown, but I am not sure.

Batman saying "Oh my God" when his analysis of the dirt sample finishes is pretty horrifying, and something the show used sparingly. Great episode.

"(S)laughter is the best medicine."

They're all on the DC comics app (at least for Google Play). Totally awesome/required reading for fans of the DCAU.

This episode is great, though the ending is just a little flat. Also, another great quote: "Untie me, you little…"

I don't know if this justifies the original design, but if you take a look at Catwoman's original design (here) it's a combination of her original look and the the revamp. I suspect they changed her costume to grey so that she would not completely blend in with the background all the time. Batgirl's original design is

Yea, Batgirl's old design was a bit curvier/fuller figured (and the same is true for all the female characters), which gave the impression that she was older than the creators intended. I think the redesign worked pretty well for her.
