Yea, Batgirl's old design was a bit curvier/fuller figured (and the same is true for all the female characters), which gave the impression that she was older than the creators intended. I think the redesign worked pretty well for her.

The scene where Bats confronts Selina in her apartment is awesome. I love the way his cape flows as he just stands there warning her.

It's also especially impressive considering he only made appearances in a total of about 4 episodes. It's amazing to tell that much of a character's story in so short of a time (same with Ra's/Talia).

The comics that expand on what Dick was up to after "Old Wounds" to "Sins of the Father" are pretty good, giving Dick his own head to head with R'as, who's effectively his grandfather.

Season 1 of Batman Beyond is also the first time these guys attempted to tell a season-long self-contained story. Reviewing it would be a nice point of comparison with the later Cadmus arc.

"Growing Pains" is pretty horrifying, and beautifully animated. Roxy Rocket is completely inappropriate for children.

well, don't we find out in a later episode that clayface has been struggling to pull himself together for a while? maybe his invulnerability has been diminished?
