There are a few paddle tire’d Toyota Hilux (work trucks! they all have the same graphics over there!) towards the end of the video. They’re RWD, and clearly not at the same pace up the hill
IIRC, they had a something like a tiny differential in the steering column. Something they could pin to drive normal, then un-pin and reverse steer? I didn’t dive into the technical bits, but I vaguely remember it being a modification in the column, not at the knuckles
I got to drive a Saab 900 with this done a while back. Its a real head trip to drive, at least for a lap or three. They had it set up in a gravel lot, so when the car starts to rotate, the instinct to counter steer got real weird...

Agreed! All the FWDLOL Hatches!
Show up! Seriously! If you have a car that meet’s their rollover guidelines (usually a “not taller than it is wide” rule), and a helmet, come check out your local one! Some places have different requirements for helmets, and may have loaners
I found a clean, rust free, (nearly) unmodified ‘94 DX Hatch.
