Former basketball official here. Never worked with anyone QUITE this disinterested, but did work with some guys who were pretty disinterested. One guy showed up after I started the game (on time) without him, never left the other side or other end of the court, and didn't come up to me during time outs or anything. We

USMNT fans rejoice until he has a bad game, when they will instantly put him on the Why This Guy? list.

Hasn't Mike Wallace kinda always been a dipshit?

I used to be. Seen it happen enough.

Possible they lost the use of the camera they would have preferred to use and had to improvise by using one from farther away that was not intended for that purpose. And in the short time frame, Ponder wasn't told, "Can you spin him around to face the end zone?" because that would have been awkward.

Hell, it took me four days to hitchhike from Saginaw, once.

But....footbaw.

Yeah, but it's easier to just type "Fuck ESPN" because of some perceived slight on College Gameday or something.

I figure if sports fans really gave a shit how much most guys make, much less how much guys make who make far more than they are worth, it would have manifested itself somehow by now.

"Cops NEVER got shot before Ferguson and everybody getting all uppity, amirite?" — Some of white America, this weekend.

Or, its chemical name....

Oh, sure, indict the black guy.

"Way ahead of you, Chris." —- God

You guys don't think he could go from football to sprinting? He's already proved switches are no problem for him.

No, I'm sorry, it's the Moops.

That's silly. They've been doing that for 39 years, they're never going to stop.

I think the original and primary meaning connotes that you don't have to know about it at all. If you acquiesce, you are a "willing cuckold," but there may very well be many who believe as you do. The definition only references an adulterous wife (which could logically be applied to a girlfriend, I would imagine).

My thought when that happened was, "Aren't you a little short to be a linebacker?"

Oh, sure, but if *I* say that, people lose their minds.

And that was actually less of a dig against said athlete than of the lawyer - yes, vigorous defense, blah blah blah - who would equate anything short of rape with the actual crime of rape. It's fucking heinous.
