As an adult, I’ve gone to bed three times (in the last seven) without eating dinner. I woke up and hit the gym like a beast like normal. I’m on a cooking kick and have filled my breakfast/lunches with a rich blend of protein, fat and some carbs and am not hungry. I also work a crazy schedule.

As varied as my tastes are, I cannot stomach fish as an entree. I like certain types of sushi and love tuna fish sandwiches. I don’t think that makes me a weird eater. I often wish I could *enjoy* fish but I just can’t stand the taste. And I’ve eaten bugs before.

That. That... just wow. I live in a country that doesn’t even sell pork products in the market. I have to go to the US base and buy bacon frozen. Even the fast food joints on base are halal out of respect for the primarily Muslim migrants that are employed there.

What’s sad? Is some restaurants are now catering to that crowd by adding on an ‘American’ menu.

That’s a bit extreme, but parents aren’t required to bend to every whim just because a kid says so. Sometimes yes, suck it up.
