Disney's making a movie that involves a princess but the protagonist is male? What's the big deal? Disney churned out tons of princess movies in the past, and now they're trying something different. Why is everyone upset?

I understand why people are upset at Apple for doing this, because the App Store is the only official way to get apps on your phone. But as long as MS allows sideloading apps as they've always done, why should people care?
