I had the same problem in a C5 convertible ‘vette and the latest MX-5, but both times it was a lack of legroom to where I couldn’t get the door all the way closed. On the ‘vette even if I could have closed the door I wouldn’t have had enough room to put the key in the ignition. But who needs knees?

I personally liked the seats in my old '09 GTI, but can't stand the new side bolsters they are putting in, it strikes me as something that will make longer road trips unbearable. Plus, 90 octane is the highest available in Alaska...
