The NA Mercedes SLK55 would be fine if he never puts the top down. Corvettes are wasted on old people. I’m 30 and have a C5, use it for what it was made for and it’s perfect for what he’s looking for. Don’t knock the model for their first owners, and appreciate them for buying them new, taking good care of them, and

My advice

Just like airline baggage fees. When they were first announced everyone was LIVID. And now we just pay them.”

I am not much of a mathematician, but doesn’t 20% of $9 million amount to $1.8 million?

If it weren’t for Tim Duncan he would have had to settle for a Bay Cruiser.

... where’s the Lexus outrage?

I, on the other hand, hope their well-deserved bad press continues and amplifies.

While I was never really in the market for a BMW, I certainly will not buy any vehicle that requires a subscription to use features that the vehicle already has hardware for. Same with a motorcycle. Yes, I’m looking at you, Zero.

I think what BMW is doing is fantastic!

I still don’t understand the Ranger.  It doesn’t really make a compelling case for a purchase now being between the F150 and the Maverick.  They should have just called the Maverick the Ranger.

Sure thing bro. See you next week!

Much like the answer to the question, “what was the last *real* M3", the answer is heavily dependent on when you started reading the site.

I have a 2017 G90, and MOST of that equipment is on my $70K 2017. The exceptions are the rear-wheel steering, and the B&O stereo. (Neither of which I would opt for if given the option).

I’ve had NO problems with my 2017, it’s a great car.  Powerful, and has a presence.  I lovingly call it “The Korean S-Class” as

I was going to reply to this Gear, from my perspective of 37 years in auto parts, but you pretty much nailed it 100%.

I’m a delivery driver. I used to have to replace brakes once or more times a year in my former delivery cars. I’ve had a hybrid for 3 years now, I’ve put 100k miles on it (it has 210k total), brakes still look great.

5th gear - I find this angst hilarious. I have owned nearly 50 cars. The number of times I have had to have real work done to the engine rounds to never. The amount of work I have had to do to OTHER parts of the car, the parts that EVs also have? Lots and lots and lots. All that road-hugging battery weight is going to

5th gear: since Elon said he’d vote Republican, I’ve seen a lot more Teslas in my corner of AZ. Used to see 1/day. Now you see 4-5. Maybe correlation and not causation. That being said, there are tire shops in town that wont even change tires on an EV. As RATM said: Fear is your only god.

Oh my god, this whole thing is so stupid. It’s not like they have to plow some ancient burial ground or knock over a cathedral. They just need to remove the span of the bridge for a few hours. Which they’ve already done. Which will be paid for generously.

I’m guessing Oceano will have to do all that and pay for it, I’m guessing Bezos will be totally unaffected.

(and who was going to pay for them).”
