This 100%. It also undermines what would otherwise be a just cause - roll out EVs to more people.

I wouldn’t pay $18k for this thing, but boy am I glad that this thing exists. Huge thumbs up on what is one of the most complete and buttoned up projects on NicePriceNoDice we’ve had yet.

This 100%. The focus on unions makes it tougher to achieve all of the other accomplishments. Why put up an artificial barrier? It’s a weird hill to die on and one that does not resonate anymore with the average democrat voter.

This looks like a boatload of fun. I need to do one of these events!

You can recycle that entire comment by simple moving the brand to ‘Alfa’. Very efficient.

I’m usually not that hung up on aesthetics, but in this case I’ve got to agree. There is something unsettling with the way this thing looks.

3rd gear: This is precisely the type of shit that gives democrats a black eye. Do you want to incentivize EVs? Great, do that. Do you want to incentivize unions? Cool, do that also. But do these things separately. Lumping them together muddles the messaging and produces lackluster results for both.

I love your passion, but no, just no. The looks are decent, but everything else falls short of expectation. The 200 has earned it’s reputation fair and square. I’ve driven a few as rental cars. Here is my counter take.

What are you trying to prove here? This is exactly the point other posters are making. Your friend’s Ford dealer was expecting to sell 20 Broncos. Now, due to supply constraints they can only sell 5-10. Said dealership still needs to cover all of their fixed costs while selling fewer inventory units. Combine that with

Hyundai/Kia are absolutely killing the design game. Both interior and exterior designs are interesting across the board. Compare this to Toyota’s ridiculous over styling, BMW grills, etc... Really impressed.

The 6.0 was not that bad. As mentioned elsewhere it gets a bad rap since it’s not a bulletproof as the 7.3. Additionally, the 6.0 will blow up on you if you neglect maintenance and/or boost it beyond it’s original point.

The 6.0 drives a lot better than the 7.3 - more power, quieter, more civilized. It’s got it’s

I actually prefer a turbo in a lot of applications. What you’re missing is that naturally aspirated engines lose a lot of their oomph at altitude, while turbo powerplants are not affected at all.

The Dodge Journey, aka a rolling credit score indicator.

Beige - otherwise known as Jewish racing gold.

I get it. Not everyone wants to maintain and think about 4 cars all at once.

*tips fedora, and walks away*

The Volt was expensive (even after incentives) compared to similar vehicles with traditional drivetrains. Also, it was quite small.
