Maybe I’m in the minority on this, but I’m never that bothered when a game I’m looking forward to gets delayed. Sure it’s a little disappointing, but I’d rather wait longer for the game to be as good as it can be than be stuck with an unfinished product that was rushed out to meet a fiscal deadline.

If there’s any commentary it’s kind of a lazy “violence as entertainment” critique, putting you in the shoes of a reluctant murderer being made to commit murder, but you’re rewarded for excessive brutality, the grainy VHS-style graphics make you both an observer and a player, etc, etc...
