I still believe the Cavs will win it and I’m not ready to write off the Dubs, but it’s crazy that 3-4 games into the conference finals, Thunder/Raptors is truly on the table, in a season where Cavs vs Warriors/Spurs seemed like a formality.

It’s a shame Biyombo wears number 8, ‘cause if he wore number 5 I had a whole slew of increasingly terrible Lou Bega jokes ready to go.

All I can say is, holy shit, Biyombo gon get paid $$$$ this summer. I am sad we probably won’t be able to afford him with Derozen asking for the max on top of Lowry and JV.

Maybe if the Warriors cared more about playoff basketball than regular season win records, they would be rested enough at this point to turn this series around.

Seems there was a Deadspin post five or six weeks back where plenty of people were calling Donovan a huge failure. It’s kind of been a minor sub-theme all season.

I’m still waiting for the game where Curry and Westbrook (or Durant, I’m not picky) both go off and score ALL THE POINTS! I want a Pacific Rim level of juggernaut battling where they set all sorts of scoring and efficiency records!

I want to see someone write an article about how awesome Donovan has been in these playoffs. First the Adams-Kanter combo that killed the Spurs. Then, last night, he went small first, subbing Waiters for Adams. That unit jumped out to a big lead, the Warriors bench climbed back into it after the Thunder went back to

Indeed. If traction control is good enough for Vettel’s Red Bull (wink wink), it’s good enough for all of us.

Just about any RWD car with 300Hp or better can get loose on a wet road surface especially when too much throttle is applied. Natually it had to be a Mustang to demonstrate this effect.

Must have been a Cars and Coffee near the ramp.

You could also argue that the officials didn’t see the Dahntay Jones shot, in that they called no foul at all. Every flagrant foul is reviewed by the league, so taking a look at Green’s kick is automatic, all-star or not. Where the precedent comes into play is not so much the Dahntay Jones suspension but that Green

You could argue that the outcome of the game Dahntay Jones was in had already been decided, so was that much more gratuitously out of rhythm with a basketball game. Also, you could argue that Dahntay Jones was not penalized in-game and Green was, so the need to look back and suspend Green is less than Jones, who

The “my core isn’t strong enough” excuse is hilarious. Like, maybe Draymond Green isn’t the most in shape guy on the Warriors roster, but he’s still in pretty good shape. If he was like Pablo Sandoval, whose core is made of Dairy Queen Peanut Buster Parfaits and whatever Waffle House was serving up at 3 AM this

So if Green gets suspended, OKC wins the series, and then Cleveland wins the finals, that would make Dahntay Jones the team MVP.

Man, all I wanted to do was make fun of Tommy Heinsohn and this is what I get? Life’s harsh.

They might have been more physical in the 80's and 90's, but I think defenses are actually much better now than they were then.

He absolutely does. He’s injury prone, but he’s a fantastic athlete and way better than the vast majority of players in the East

You don’t think Aldridge is an elite player? You don’t think he’s top 10-15?

The Raptors are fine, they’re just not “one of the 4 best teams in the NBA”. But considering that 3 of those 4 best teams all play in the West, it’s inevitable for that to happen.

That’s accurate, I think you may have a point there.
