I almost didn’t get laid the night I took my date to see that garbage ass movie Poltergeist! I mean she was highly pissed off after watching that crap and wanted me to just drop her off at home. I had to go through hoops just for her to Netflix and chill with me. Thanks Obama

Given how the rules were, the lack of curating on whether modders were getting screwed over by other modders, and how little the modder got in terms of the cut of the profit, it was pretty obvious the intent of this system from the start and how little Valve gave a shit to both the consumer and modder.

I’m actually fine with the idea of user generated stuff being sold if it all went through internal QA with the game developer itself.

Wow really?! Am I the only one not sold on this? The mix absolutely sucks, music is over the top, the voice acting sounds strained and unnatural (esp for my idol G.O.), the writing is terrible AND the rendering is pathetic for today’s gfx standards. Truly disappointing for a $49M game.

hey! I had an ok saturday. I needed to complain about something before the day was over!

Some advice: If you see a video game Kickstarter asking for less than, oh, say, $200,000 (aka: a year’s salary for four people working at below-average rates), you probably shouldn’t back it. And if you see a video game Kickstarter whose creators don’t seem to have any experience shipping actual video games, then,

And yet all those games I mentioned are instanced off online experiences outside of the towns/outpost some sort of central hub. You’re taking the massive out of massively, something Destiny is lacking in a persistent world.

It can have all the tropes and fittings of other MMOs until the end of the world, but you taking out the MASSIVELY part of it kind ruins the whole acronym. That’s not splitting hairs, it’s not semantics or any other argument.

I know WoW has the pets and mounts being sold for a premium and to me, that’s a worse offender because you are paying monthly to play that game, to fund future content that will be delivered to you free of charge sans expansions.

Doesn’t matter what it is. Doesn’t matter if it were skins for guns, extra hair styles, what have you.

The potential of thousands of players being in one place at one time? Face to face? Destiny is an online game with a lot of players but it’s pretty instanced off. Once you’re out of the Tower you’re not going to see but a handful of people if at all.

But Destiny isn’t an MMO.

Does it actually involve removing Michael Jordan from his demon throne? Because if it doesn’t after that intro, I’m afraid it’ll be disappointing.

*financiers on the phone*

“When’s the new product shipping”

*looks at broken pile of spaghetti code*

“Umm, tomorrow! Its a meta game about games!”

There is nothing scarier than buying a game with your own money and then finding out it is a glitchy mess.

Because then people would be saying the exact opposite of what you just wrote...”Am I the only one feeling that the Zelda franchise has gotten WAY stale, samey and flooded the market with too many of the same type of games that are just like the main games? How about we try some new Zelda stories and gameplay elements?

Not really. The Zelda franchise is the only one of the big three (Mario, Pokemon, Zelda) that has been consistent with quality and doesn’t have a bunch of spinoffs. In fact, the only recet spinoff was Hyrule Warriors.

It’s really not. It’s oversimplifying, because people don’t understand that yes, an assault rifle IS a small gun, because a minigun is NOT a small gun.

This is, unfortunately, no longer Fallout. It’s too bad.

Fucking typical, If you want to hack everything, specialize in it. you said yourself the main purpose of the skill was for hacking computers. When im roleplaying a ninja that doenst know fuckall about tech, I dont want to be able to hack every computer. You people are ruining RPGs. Stop turning the RPG genre into FPS.

I am fine with the ideas behind this type of course, but the idea that a Mario fan is not a dedicated one unless they can do them is beyond elitist garbage. The POINT of Mario games is that they are easy to learn but difficult to master while not being inclusive to only one of those types of players.
