Meaning the code is not in the manual or given to you within the game. People knew about the code because it was in a lot of “game secrets” guides and videos back then and well, the game is nearly impossible without it. The devs probably added the code just so anyone could actually make any progress in the game.

This is actually an incredible achievement. Grats to this guy and I secretly hope he gets some cool acknowledgment from Nintendo (doubtful, but it would be awesome).

This requires a bit of context, the comments would make you think Infinite Warfare was a failure. It actually didn’t live up to expectations because its immediate predecessor, Black-Ops 3, sold absurdly well, becoming the top-selling game of 2015 by far. But Infinite Warfare was still the top-selling game of 2016. So…

Why? Nintendo moved their handheld and console teams into the same building. The Switch functions as a handheld. And the “we’re not replacing the 3DS” talk sounds a lot like the “We’re not replacing the Game Boy Advance” talk when the DS first came out.

Eh...it’s still not losing their way if they intentionally went in this direction to great success. And like it or hate it, SR is successful. Not going to lie though, I would have loved it if they expanded on SR2 with the balance of crazy and serious. But I also enjoyed what they ended up doing.
