Fallout 4 is an amazing Fallout game. It’s just not much of an RPG

Are you often angered by the sight of “cardboard”?
Always weird when someone uses a physical object like a car to make an example with media. The two are governed by completely different laws, and are entirely different in how a person consumes then. The boxing and benchmarking thing is very odd as well as it’s just unpacking a product or doing testing on it.
I think you might be mistaken about the scripting. I’m basically making a Moba with minions that push into a base, the ability to choose 5 different classes, the ability to level up and gain new abilities and weapons, the ability to spend credits on power ups and weapons, the ability to spend points on stats upgrades.
Well if you compare it to an actual expansion in any other game even TTK doesnt measure up content wise. Witchers HoS has more to do in the opening questline.
I disagree. It exposed indie gaming to be just as sad and derivative as AAA gaming.
Hm... I don’t know if I can return to these games this soon. Arkham Knight left me absolutely disappointed. Maybe one day I’d get these again though, especially if Origins gets remastered too.
I use to agree with that, but after reading “Science and Sanity” by Alfred Korzybski and “The Tyranny of Words” by Stuart Chase, I started to realize the language, most if not all languages at their best are primitive and too subjective. That communication with them, for me, is so distracting that taking issue with…
right now on Twitch there’s 616 people watching Battleborn and 1135 watching Overwatch replays (!)
yep, feel exactly the same. I’m very happy playing the new DOOM and this/Overwatch don’t really interest me at all. To be fair though, the MOBA formula never quite clicked with me.
Completely agree. I was in on the Overwatch closed beta. It was neat for about a week but I got burned out fast. Three weeks in and I was struggling for an excuse to even log in anymore.
I enjoyed the beta, as with Overwatch’s, but these games became boring pretty quick. I don’t really have a problem with multiplayer only games (not quite the case with Battleborn), but they just have so little content in them. I’ll just pass on this growing trend and leave it to those that do enjoy it.
Please, that gloom and terror wore off in the first 10 minutes. Then it was “I can’t see shit...oh here comes another ‘jump scare’”
Lots of negative comments from people who’ve never played the game and are judging it purely by this small clip.
It’s the best new shooter since Wolfenstein, easily. It FEELS like old school Doom - yeah it’s slicker and fancier but the essence of it is very much there.
Not sure I really see or agree with that. Just like Rage, this game actually does hit feedback well, because it doesn’t just do the particle effect or sound on hits most shooters do, but regularly you actually can stagger enemies with your hits. Faster enemies you encounter later I’d say it’s pretty essential you do…
I’m not some noob dude. In fact I’ve been playing Brutal Doom pretty extensively over the last year or so and DOOM since it came out in 1994 ( and have played it at least once a year since then ). The speed is fast, and it feels fluid and tight. You use height a lot in 4 vs the older games, but in the older games you…
i find it hard to imagine anyone would finance a business plan titled “Open portal to Hell for benefit of mankind”
if you didn’t notice...Doom Guy and his armor were both sealed in big stone boxes, and were apparently just pulled out right before the game started...this isn’t a reboot... ... ...it’s a sequel.
