Honestly don’t know what point you’re trying to make here, so...I’ll just say, “Thanks for the wonderful advice” and move on with my life.

Can they be changed to Apache Attack Helicopters? If not then I’m not represented and am 110% triggered.
Maybe it was the last employee left of Active World’s developer, maybe the CEO sitting alone in his server room\office excited to finally see another player and confirmed in his believe that World of Warcraft was just a fad after all, and they players are coming back!
;)
Kojima doesn’t own the rights to anything Metal Gear-related. If Konami wants to, say, remove his name from the game box, refuse to let him speak at industry events for months, and basically treat him like a pariah until he leaves the company, they have every right to.
Just because they do it doesn’t mean they did it the right way. It’s common courtesy to at least contact the person being replaced and telling him he’s being replaced.
He didn’t help? I remember when MGS4 came out, he basically busted his ass going out there with Kojima promoted the game. He goes out of his way to do live action MGS skits for game award shows and you can clearly see he loves doing the voice of Solid Snake/Big Boss. The simple fact is, David is as big of a part in…
By that logic, if Konami wants to be shitty towards Kojima and the Metal Gear crew, they have every right to.
But then he goes on to use Hayter as Big Boss in ALL the portable handheld games and visual graphic novels. For someone that didn’t want Hayter from the get go he really milked Hayter for all he was worth. Yeah, string him along until you find the big name actor you have wet dreams about. Is it hard to think that…
Says the fucking Kojima fanboy trying to defend precious Kojima even though HE screwed Hayter and had obviously been trying since MGS3......LMAO
If Hayter had been fired for doing a poor job or because the games with his voice work weren’t selling, that would be one thing. But that isn’t the case.
ok bro
I think he’s humiliated because fans assume he’ll have the job and he has to endure questions about it despite not being a part of it. Which is reasonable. It’s also a bit humiliating to be associated with an iconic character(s) for over a decade only to lose your job because the director wanted to do some…
Nine times out of ten, when an actor is replaced in an established role, it’s because the actor made the desicison to walk away. To kick them off the role without cause is in fact considered disrespectful; especially in this case, where Hayter wasn’t even told they were firing him until after the recasting process had…
So being screwed over by Konami gives Kojima a lisence to screw people over himself? Sure, okay.
He’s an actor who’s become synonymous with a part, who’s put his heart into creating that character over years and years and did a great job that people respected. Then for that character’s final story he got recast because Kojima wanted a Hollywood celebrity name.
Someone in the comments section on Game Informer brought up an interesting point about all this.
Why? Konami signed his paychecks and were probably fine with him. He has no reason to be upset about someone who sought to replace him being treated “unfairly”.
His point of view is fuck them for ditching him. Which is fair.
What are you talking about? He was a well established actor and writer far before MGS. VO does not pay well and he would have been just as successful without MGS. Look into his credits before crying foul.
And why does everyone defend kojima right away? This is the 3rd person that has said Kojima is tough to work with.…
In retrospect, I’d have been content if the franchise died after Peace Walker.
