Yeah, this combined with the fact that finding decent levels can be hard, could potentially start to kill the game’s fanbase.

Everyone was praising them for finally making this game, but they just had to find a way to mess things up. Wouldn’t be Nintendo otherwise.
Yes, when you make the level, you save an offline version that’s yours as long as you keep it. However, the point of Mario Maker is exchanging levels, playing other people’s levels and stuff like that, so when a course gets deleted from the server, it sucks, because all the feedback is lost and you can never upload…
This was the game that got me to buy a 360 and it was the only game I had for like two months. And you know what? During those two months, I never felt like I needed more games, that’s how engrossing and chock full of content, Oblivion was. Still my favorite TES by far.
There are limits based on your start level. When you start, you can upload only 5 courses, but as you get more stars, you are able to upload more.
Because none of their current consoles can run Unreal Engine 4. On top of that, this is just a demo of one area, if you were to apply these effects to an entire game, you would need a beefy system, since these effects usually tax the system a lot.
Not to mention that these effects usually tax the system a lot, which is why often times they are sacrificed in exchange for performance.
They said that to explain why they didn’t add it to ORAS. But it could definitely and it should be a returning feature.
Although that was a pretty sarcastic reply and the chances of a new AoE game are slim, I would definitely love a new one. Especially if it was like AoE 2.
“At this point, anyone who says otherwise, simply hasn’t played it.”
I don’t think I ever did either or at least I can’t remember the ending. But in my case, like I said before, I had the most fun playing against bots.
If my speculation is right, it wouldn’t surprise me if a new Metroid was one of the launch games. The NX /needs/ a solid launch lineup and it will need to be more than just a “New Super Deluxe Ultra New Super Mario Bros NX”.
I remember that there were some grindy parts or rather some random difficulty spikes. But at the time, I couldn’t play online multiplayer games and that game was a good substitute in that regard.
I enjoyed Triforce Heroes a lot. Thankfully I had a couple of friends to play with and it was a blast that way.
This isn’t the first time that Metroid has gone on a long hiatus. Correct me if I am wrong, but didn’t we also had to wait almost a decade between Super Metroid and Metroid Prime 1?
I remember enjoying Hunters a lot when it first came out. Back then I didn’t have a stable connection so I wasn’t used to playing online. Thankfully the game let you play with bots and I had a lot of fun with that. The single player was pretty enjoyable too.
Yeah, like I been saying, the game does look like a lot of fun. It scratches a couple of itches that very few games on 3DS do. I’ll admit that I’m not a fan of the models, but the gameplay itself looks like a lot of fun. Problem is, though, a game like this relies on having an active community and with the severe…
I dunno, after I watched that trailer it does seem like a fun game.
Not to mention that the game does actually look like fun.
I’m keeping my expectation low to avoid disappointment. Still, hope they announce something new rather than just confirm release dates.
