Have a Kinsler stack on the LS engine in one of the kit cars I’m building with my old man. They look pretty, but they can be a little more involved when it comes to getting them to operate smoothly.

I don’t think it’ll be a case of “if” he starts a trade war, more a case of when he inadvertently starts one because he has no concept of the big picture. I feel that he may have just paid for his degree, instead of actually earning it.

The day Jalopnik send someone down to Summernats is the day I attempt to drive my RCR40 to Summernats.

I know. You only got the one model and didn’t get the HSVs-

I’d hazard a guess and say the executive type role was on the cards from the day he signed on to the Porsche WEC program.

Wouldn’t have happened anyway - He did an interview with V8X Magazine a few years back and said he never had any interest in racing in the VASC (V8 Supercars), he appreciates the talent and the series, it just never appealed to him.

Why do people keep saying this? V8 engines are still allowed under new regs, and will probably still be tooling about the Mountain for a few years.

Yeah, but they’re a bit soft compared to the HSV and FPV fleet. Basically the AMG version of Holden and Ford.

Most of the time it’s either too hot or too flood-y, so none of us can be arsed dressing up. We just get shitfaced and treat it like every other weekend.

Why Ford and Holden never tried to sell our bonkers variants (See FPV and HSV) to you guys is beyond me. Aussie Utes strike me as something that would’ve taken off over your side of the pond.

Good luck. most of the last generation Falcons will be held on to by lifelong ford fans and people hoping they’re the next GTHO Phase III in terms of value appreciation.

A good few will probably get written off through shenanigans.

Political douchebaggery made the survival of the Australian automotive manufacturing industry impossible.

This will be like when they released the HSV W427, which you don’t see many of tooling about and have depreciated in value over the last 8 years.

If this new HSV does see the light of day, it’ll be a super limited run garage queen - people will thinking they’re snapping up something that will be as lucrative as the old

I highly suggest trying to watch Race 8 - 2016 Perth SuperSprint from early May.
