I have, that was how I knew she was shying away from similar projects.

Her supporting characters drag her down because they're awful (read: "toxic") people. The show could have been wrapped up in 5 episodes without the "help" of Trish, Luke, Hogarth, Simpson, and crazy upstairs neighbor girl. After the fifth or so time they'd knocked over her house of cards it became tiring.

They should do a variation on the unfilmed opening that Sergio Leone did for for Once Upon a Time in the West. There's a meeting between some badass underworld hitman types meeting around some shipping containers. The hitmen are played by Thomas Jane, Dolph Lundgren, and Ray Stevenson. Bernthal Punisher shows up

It's a question in response to the article title.

So far they've shown a real affinity for Thomas Jane movie, which honestly is more tonally in line with what they need. War Zone was great but it was blatantly farcical.

She's probably free but she's kinda shied away from anything even remotely similar to Punished: War Zone, which is a shame because she's a great director.

They barely had enough plot for the one season they've already had and the comic it's based on isn't exactly ripe with material to use, let this one cook.

"You're tuned into SPLOOSH!"

Isn't that that channel that just airs reruns of The Brady Bunch, Andy Griffith, Happy Days, and Dukes of Hazzard?

Even the 2 episodes late in the season where nothing happens and Jessica's toxic social web spoil her every attempt to move the plot forward? Those poor women.

I'm not comfortable blaming anything about any of those movies on Ryan Reynolds. Dude's gotta eat, that's why they sold the pizza place midway through that dumb show.

If he has to foot that Kinko's bill then he won't be able to afford this pills that keep Aunt May from dying!

Well then where the fuck am I supposed to put all this safety?

All women are lesbians, that's the only logical reason why none of them would want to have sex with me.

All those movies are horror movies, Sofie's a pedantic wad.

They spun it into a full show on Fox Family and it lost all charm. It was just dull.

A network is trying to tap into the success of the Evil Dead franchise, what a time to be alive!

He's exclusive to the show. Which is unfortunate because he would work perfectly with this new Tick (Fox Kids didn't let Edlund and co. give him his own episode because of their byzantine regulations. I'm honestly surprised they got him in the first season.)

I hadn't even considered that, I was just thinking they were going to re-do Big Shot from the cartoon with a different name but Chainsaw Vigilante makes total sense!

Unfortunately all the characters introduced in the TV shows are owned by seperate companies (Vivendi owns the cartoon characters and I think 20th Century Fox still owns the live-action ones.) But we might get Paul the Samurai and The Man-Eating Cow, so there's that.
