Still do.
Still do.
Watching the old Matilda clip...
I like that she’s witty but she verges a little too smugly misanthropic for me. Maybe it’s not a sensibility I appreciate. Broad City humor - heady but not so much “ugh, the plebes” - is a little more my style. But I’m sure this would be a good read. I’m just scared I won’t be able to wash off the judge snooty…
I would die
As a big booty girl, I kind of think she’s an asshole for this. “This is what you think is hot - talking bout my fudge machine.”
So if you’re not a Beyoncé fan you writing this article cuz...? This isn’t journalism, it’s a blog, and I want only stans to write about her new releases. Otherwise it feels cynical.
She clearly threw shade in her husband’s face, not wintour’s.
You do know Obama - and not trump or palin - has been our president for 8 years? Harvard Law prof?
It’s funny - you think they look alike for superficial reasons like hair, skin tone, boobs. But next to each other they look quite different. Also, one has a peaceful look (what’s her name again? I want to call her maybee because of arrested development but...aliza?) and illana looks somewhere between grumpy and…
Scout annoyed you? What.
Fucking SIGH
But people’s memories tend to be faulty and most people can’t repeat things verbatim. There are numerous studies on this (and there is also “group mismemory” when there's groupthink.)
Thank you - I’ll keep telling myself that...! Going public with my writing gives me the spazzes, so rejection makes it doubly hard. I think the first step may be to publish on Medium and then when I’ve gotten a bit of a boost I can send things out again...but I still have to pinch my nose and jump in the water first!
I love her too! But the toast/ortberg turned down something I wrote and broke my lil heart :/. That was months ago — I’m still getting up the nerve to send anything out.
I wish every young woman could write and hear back from “Sugar:” Cheryl Strayed. If you haven’t read her (feminist, empathetic, bold) collection of advice columns, go get it and read it now!
I'm at a startup, so he's probably here til his pay out (company profitable/sold.) ah well. Guess I'll just learn to cope!
Do execs often move on? I can only pray...
Ummm projecting much? This was a fair assessment. Women have been fighting for maternity leave forever, and these companies offer it - which jez has praised - but they don’t have very many women. This is a relevant fact and should be reported in the context of the issue.
46 to 54 percent is about equal, given natural variation. No one is expecting companies to abide by a perfect ratio. That would be a little ridiculous.
The “LAST TWO MONTHS”?!!!! How many months were there total? Where do you live? Fuuuuuuck.
