My 2008 X5 would occasionally roll down all of the windows, even after being parked for hours. More often than not it would do this when it was raining.

Somewhat crappy iPhone pics, but I get what you say about fitting in with the rich kids...she blends in quite well with the private school moms in their range rovers in this specific neighborhood. Ha!
