We kill pests because we don’t like them. Killing them by a trap or killing them by putting them in an unfamiliar environment, the only difference is that we pretend one is nicer. If you really want to be nice to that mouse then give it some food, don’t pretend its nicer to just feed it a coyote in the state park.

This one is funny to me!  I have no issues killing animals for meat or as pests, but possums are harmless outdoor roombas and killing them just means I have to pickup more dead animals and garbage. 

I went through the worst of this and just realize, every business transaction has collateral. In the case that you go into business with your relatives, that collateral is likely your relationship. If the business struggles, expect the relationship to be the first casualty.
