I want each episode to begin with Saul sitting at a campfire behind the Cinnabon in Nebraska with his coworkers, and then he says "Haha, this reminds me of that time I got into some occupational shenanigans with some fellas back in New Mexico…"

The guy I like most in the Zion battle is Captain Mifune, whose name I can only remember because of the reference. That's probably not a great sign.
100% agreed on the Zion battle scene. It's so disconnected from the stuff we actually care about and has horribly dated CGI.
RELOADED definitely gets a lot of flack that it doesn't deserve, mostly because REVOLUTIONS doesn't deliver on its promise. All of that stuff the Architect said about other Ones and incarnations of the Matrix ended up being completely disregarded.
I actually really loved the progression of Smith as the Antichrist figure, creating a nemesis that forced both sides to work together. The "peace" ending also leaves the door open for the Wachowskis to return, if they were ever so inclined.
I actually just finished watching the MATRIX sequels for the first time. I really dug RELOADED, it was excessive and bloated but also crazy ambitious and a million times more interesting than most of the blockbuster shit that gets churned out today. REVOLUTIONS, for much of its runtime, was that dumb shit getting…
I have one problem with this: that this means that we might not immediately get a JOHN WICK sequel.
Haven't seen this one, but BLACKHAT almost put me to sleep.
Maybe now he can finally get to the bottom of the series longest-running unsolved mystery: what really went on between Marilyn Monroe and the Kennedys and who really pulled the trigger on JFK?
Nothing goes over his head. His reflexes are too fast, he would catch it.
I read somewhere that they'll be introducing her future husband as some point, so hopefully that will be avoided.
The One-Shot was fucking cool as shit. If the show's half as good, it'll be a success. Now hopefully they'll get DAREDEVIL right…
The scene in WINTER SOLDIER where she has some kind of dementia is the most heartbreaking thing. And Evans' reaction suggests that it's happened many times before.
The biggest issue with FIRST AVENGER is that the movie never figures out what to do with Cap after his origin is over. Hell, he's only in costume with the shield for about fifteen minutes of screentime.
He's his own grandfather!
It seems to me that ALL-WHEEL DRIVE is… FOUR-WHEEL DRIVE.
I vaguely remember reading that he was almost (weirdly) cast in James Franco's part in RISE OF THE PLANET OF THE APES, but talks broke down after he wanted rewrites.
"Not the chorus, please…"
I've only watched the first two episodes so far (drawing it out so as to savor it), but both were spectacular in completely different ways. "The National Anthem" was a riotous political satire, easily one of the most darkly hilarious things I've ever watched. "Fifteen Million Merits", on the other hand, was downright…
I discovered BLACK MIRROR. "Fifteen Million Merits". Holy fucking shit.
