Then there's the fact that Aragorn would've been a kid at the time of THE HOBBIT.

I'm in the process of doing just that. I much better understand the main plot now, but I read the acid trip sequence (Doc, no, Xqq) three times, and still have no idea what the fuck is going on there.
That top photo would definitely be Jamm's Facebook profile pic.
"Please let me explain
My crimes were merely boyish pranks"
"You stole from boy scouts, nuns and banks!"
"Don't blame me, blame my upbringing!"
"Please stop stealing while I'm singing!"
I never really liked the realism of the MODERN WARFARE games. Having just finished ADVANCED WARFARE, I can conclude that lunacy was definitely the way to go with this series. Now on to the HALO collection (playing HALO for the first time!).
Freed from the shackles of AMC's That-Cop-Show-with-Mark-Strong-Whose-Name-I-Have-Already-Forgotten
The minute I got to "taking their rictus grins as a sign of encouragement" I knew only O'Neal could be the writer, and I was not disappointed.
I tried to resist typing it, but in the end I couldn't help myself.
He's at home, WASHING HIS TIGHTS!!!!
IT IS HAPPENING AGAIN.
Oh, it's a horror film, no doubt about that. But the bar scene is bizarre as all hell. Garbled dialogue with subtitles, "I'm as blank as a fart", the insane lighting, and it goes on forever.
I've never understood why people hated it. It may occasionally devolve into abstract weirdness (that bar scene), but damn it if it isn't one of the most unsettling cinematic experiences ever put to film.
I'd still like to see his edit of the Star Wars prequels.
God, I miss Breaking Bad.
"Hello darkness, my old friend…"
I didn't really mean that some people wished TDK had more spectacle, I meant that some felt the movie was too not comic-booky.
Eh, he's in the suit for like the last 40 minutes, and it's not like he wasn't onscreen at all when he wasn't in it. Good enough for me.
I agree about the disclaimer. Begins hasn't aged as well as its two sequels have, but it still mostly works. The sequels each offer unique brands of Batmanning. TDK gives you the full serious, thematically challenging crime film with a superhero in it, and TDKR gives you the big crazy spectacle superhero film you may…
Also, how the Gungans were critically involved in this process, especially one who will remain nameless.
How many shows are there where the best episode of the series is the finale? Few episodes of television are simultaneously as rousing and heartbreaking as "Victory".
