I'm in line to see The Salesman, and it looks to be a packed theater. But you should still come and see it.

/tv/ is the closest thing to /pol/ without being /pol/ (though /r9k/ sees a lot of crossover. Go into any thread, and you'll likely hear see the word "Jew" used as an epithet.

I just watched those latter two, and having seen all the Worst Picture nominees, Hillary's America outstinks them all.

I have to see this one either the 24th or the 26th, and I'll likely be too tired for the later after going to see all the Best Picture nominees in the row. So far, I've only been able to see all the nominees before the ceremony since last year.

I live near that museum. Watch the stream, I might pop up there every so often.

By 2020, the pot will be the rightful property of a Russian party-boy.

Van Lunt's name was on the door (or on the door across the hall, I forget) of Matt and Foggy's law firm.

Who here will support this film directed by a woman and directed to schlubs? Say it loud, say it proud.

I guess you haven't seen The Duellists.

I prefer a chubby kickline.

R.I.P. anyone who eats bacon for 12 days straight

I saw the 4K restoration of The Tree of Wooden Clogs in its original Bergamese language, and I saw Elle at a nearly ninety-degree angle (I got there just before it began and had to take a seat up front).

How many of you saw Jerry Lewis when he was Professor Frink's father on The Simpsons? One of the few good segments of the latter Treehouse of Horrors (which I consider anything after the 13th one).

So since it's Chapter 2, it counts as reading a book, right?

I saw Fences on Broadway when Denzel Washington was playing the lead. I'll see this one primarily to see how he interprets the character onscreen. I can't think of a way to make this comment humorous.

I finally read Johnny Tremain and Ethan Frome. Johnny is indeed deformed and a pretty good character in a pretty good book, but Ethan Frome is not a book I would want a copy to call my own. I enjoyed it, but it was about a hundred pages of misery.

Anime.

What a coincidence, I just caught up with the Disney animated features I hadn't seen like Meet the Robinsons and The Black Cauldron and even the ones not in that montage, Melody Time and Make Mine Music. Lucky me to have been a kid during the Disney Renaissance, and I'm glad kids today will also discover strange

San fell in love with Ashitaka, but they never shared a kiss and went their separate ways until they got their respective worlds in order. Funny enough, Howl's Moving Castle has a more traditional ending with the woman helping the man become a better person and them sharing a kiss happily ever after.
